What about for the people who like to hit some cliff jumps and tree running, would this Bindings be as responsive as other expensive ones? & how would you put them in an ICS board?

Responded on

No, these bindings are soft flexing which means they are geared toward beginners and park riders. You can use them for what you want to, but you'll have a more enjoyable ride with a mid to stiff flexing binding to add the responsiveness you need for that style of riding. Unfortunately the stiffer bindings usually cost more. You should be able to get these on an ICS board with burton's adaptor discs which I think you can get directly from burton. I know union has an adaptor for their bindings you can buy (but that only helps if you get a union binding). Just know that there are ways to get regular bindings on an ICS board, a lot of people do it whether they do it "the right way" or rig something together.

Okay...Wouldn't buy again.

I've ridden these bindings for the past few months. At first, they were okay, but as I began to start carving more aggressive runs, the more I became dissatisfied with these. The biggest problem being the High-back lean adjustment. Simply put, during a run, the lean adjustment has become completely unhitched, basically allowing the high back to adjust at will, which, when you're coming down a run, results in an amazing lack of response, and at times, COMPLETE LOSS of the ability to turn. Snowboarding can result in you falling, but it shouldn't be because your equipment basically doesn't give you any other option.

I have ThirtyTwo Prion boots size 11.5 and I was wondering if they will fit in these bindings?!

If you get the large they will fit just fine. Forum large bindings fit boots 10.5 and higher.

It will fit just fine. The Large bindings are made to fit Boots that are sizez 10.5 to 13. Size 12 will be no problem.

Recon

The Forum Recon is a great entry level binding. Forum has tweaked the construction of this binding in a way to remove the heelcup. This significantly reduces the overall weight of the binding but still keeps up durability. It is polycarbonate baseplate that is soft and flexible. The ankle strap is an EVA pre-curved strap that better fits your boots. The toe strap is a convertible strap that can be worn as a toestrap or a toecap. If you are just starting out, this binding is perfect for you.

Recon

The Forum Recon is a great entry level binding. Soft, light, and cheap in price. It comes with a convertible toe strap that can be worn over the toes or around the edge like a toe cap. The Bubbler ankle strap is an EVA pre wrapped strap that fits your boots nicely. The construction of the binding, Forum has eliminated the heelcup. This significantly reduces weight but also has great durability. The Recon is worth the money for sure.
