I have a size 11 US boot. Would my boots fit in to these bindings?
Yes, your boots would fit in a size Large binding.
You'll be Golden in a Size Large

Will these bindings have any problem fitting onto a GNU Danny Kass 2011 board?
Nope, not at all.
It should be smooth sailing. Like peanut butter and jelly this is a real match.

I got the republic bindings 9 out of 7 for sure super flexible and responsive. Only thing is the good vibes foot bed no longer clips in any suggestions
push on it harder
This binding is awesome. No matter what I throw at it. Nuff said.
The Republic has made its way up the ranks at my house, and has proven itself this year on several boards. Quickly becoming my go-to binding.
The split baseplate combined with the hinge disk is a simple concept that WORKS. You can feel the flex under your feet. Enough said?
The full length GOOD VIBES footbed feels great. Absorbs the vibrations and flat landings, but doesnt feel mushy under your boots.
The highback is nice... Not too high, not too low. I ride with almost zero forward lean, and this binding is still super responsive.
The tool-less adjustments on the straps is NICE... But mandatory, because the ankle strap likes to pack out pretty quick, and continues to stretch throughout the day. Better start out with it a little shorter than you usually ride!!
Not many complaints. These are super nice bindings without having to spend a fortune. TAME colorways make them easy to match up to your current deck.

what is the difference between this and the skaka?
The Republic is going to be a bit stiffer underfoot than the Shaka. The Republic is a 7 on stiffness and the Shaka is a 5. Also the Shaka has "Good Vibes" (gives more flex under foot and has a hinged binding), The Highbacks on the two models differ a bit.
If your looking for a stiffer binding the Republic is going to be your joint. Republic harnesses freestyle, energy to slay and stomp with higher wattage and amplitude. Boosting efficiency with a regulation- height living hinge highback, this binding conserves output resulting more pop and stomp with less fatigue. Real wrap EVA and cush straps provide the comfort of a secondhand couch, with out the smell.
Go slay some Dragons Friend.

How do you mount these bindings onto Burton 3-hole board? Do they come with flexible 3-hole disc as well?
Get a hold of burton rider service and they will send you a disk.
Is that disk that Burton will send me, is it flexible like the one that comes with these bindings?

does the rebublic have the same hight on its back as the faction?
The highback on the republic is 25mm taller than the faction. But the Republic has the hinging disk, so you will get better flex out of it than any traditional 4-hole disk binding.
Forum Republic is the absolute worst!
Granted I bought the previous year ones (2009), however they all have the same flawed side rail system which made with what seems to be a crappy alloy composite.I don't think I rode on them for more than a season when the damn thing snapped on the bottom, making the whole binding wobbly and loose. See the picture on the left. Shortly after it started cracking in different other spots, like in the back and all around. One thing I should mention though, their support is awesome. I wrote to them and showed the pictures and one of their staff hooked me up with a replacement part for the broken binding. It's different color (white) and not exactly the same model, I think it's the year's after - but it worked fine.
I'm definitely done with buying Forum gear though and putting my board for sale. This year, I'm rocking Travis Rice 2011 Banana board with Flux SR-15 (The White Wave) Bindings. If you're considering a better binding, the Flux are the sh*t! Been riding on those for about two weeks now and couldn't be happier.
Finally A Burton Binding With Adjustable Heelcup!
I love these bindings, they have replaced my Burton CO2s. I wear Burton Ion boots and these bindings fit perfectly. They are essentially a freestyle specific Burton binding. I especially love them because they are not a unibody binding and you can adjust the heelcup length allowing you to run your binding baseplates such that you can fine tune your stance. I also love the highbacks they are less intrusive than a typical Burton binding. Great straps and the hinged base plate works better than my Burton Prophecys. I prefer this binding over the burton Prophecy - more adjustable and a hair stiffer.

Obviously I understand flex, but should any part of the binding be lifting off the base of the board at all. I just put on Forum Military State bindings on a three year old burton board and when leaning side to side there is a small gap between board and corners of the heel of the binding...hope that makes sense!.....anyone?
Yes that happens, the binding has goodvibes, this is going to flex the binding in the middle of the baseplate and then the outside of the binding could lift up.
Will using this on a Burton Bullet wide...
Will using this on a Burton Bullet wide work?
Yes. These bindings are awesome, you will be stoked. They are really comfortable and have a great flex. You will be soooo stoked.
I'm running Union Force's right now, and...
I'm running Union Force's right now, and was wondering how these compare in flex and response, as I really like the toe strap design on these compared to Union's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
First off, Union makes great bindings. They guys are on point. Forum bindings have a technology called "Good Vibes". This allows any Good Vibes binding to flex 70%!!! more than any disk binding on the market. The more flex you have underfoot the more board feel and board control you have. If you can feel your board you instantly become better.
The Republic is made with 30% fiberglass in the nylon baseplate and the heelcup is aluminum. The heelcup attaches directly under the toe section of the baseplate, as soon as any pressure is applied against the highback the toe lifts. Great response, Great binding, and Amazing Flex with responsibility.
Good Vibes is the Best Binding Tech for Disk bindings.
2010/2011 Forum Republic Snowboard Binding
The Forum Men’s Republic Snowboard Binding gives you the combination of comfort, low weight, and high performance that you’ve always wanted. You can’t have too much padding, so Forum gave this binding a boatload on both the top and bottom.
The Republic can take you to many new areas of the galaxy, areas never thought possible to reach by mankind.
This is largely due to the Good Vibes disc and Throwdown captrap. The Throwdown Capstrap is money because it doesn't quit on you.
The disc makes tons of sense in that it flexes, especially with all the reverse camber boards on the market today. It just works that much better with those boards but helps out cambered boards as well.
The fullbed EVA padding is your foot's best friend-super damp and cush.
There is a ton of response toe toe heel and lots of drive comes from the highback but with no pressure points.
Goes well with the Conflict snowboard from Forum.
