Shredding...!

For the price..... I stole it! On the stiff side but that's how I like it.
Holds edge extremely well and is very playful for its stiffness! Will recommend!

Straight Schemin'

Got the 156 on Brociety: I'm 5'7" and about 160 lbs and this board fits llliiikee a gllloove..

Shipped in 2 days, which is effing sweet because I paid standard shipping..
2 days later, went to Northstar at Tahoe and put the wood to the test.

Amazing control: Edge to edge down the mountain effortlessly. Good pop, decent flex, and who doesn't love the 80s?
There was only some powder, but what I did put under the board was devoured and pillaged by this piece of all-mountain hardware.

One thing I must relate is that the board is pink on the bottom. If you cant handle that, I wouldn't suggest the board, but if you are comfortable with your orientation, I wouldn't worry about it.

After all, most of the guys on the mountain are lookin like a fool with their pants on the ground.

How does the Scheme compare to the Burton Custom X?

Responded on

not really, the custom X has a vapor skin core or something like that. The Scheme is a pretty sick board though. Directional shape super fun and you will love it. Great for all mountain riding.

Will this board work with bindings from Burton, K2, Raiden, Flux, Technine etc.?

Responded on

Yes to all. If you get Burton bindings make sure they come with the 4-screw mounting plate. If they don't, they won't fit, but no worries because you can get them at most ski/snowboard shops for about $7/pair.

Responded on

All Burton bindings will come with the 4 hole disks so no worries!

the scheme is a directional board, will this make a huge diff if u want to ride switch?

Responded on

You'll definitely be able to tell the difference between a nose press and a tail press. The board will flex differently between the nose and tail. Don't think that you you can't ride switch, look at Pat Moore, his pro-model is a version of the scheme, he kills it any where and everywhere on this board.

HOLY EFF!!!

Took this board to BALD FACE. You know the place where dreams come true. Had like 5' of new snow over our 4 day trip. This board handles deep pow and stiffer pack like a viking!!!
I got caught in an avalanche on this board and it pretty much saved my life.
Super reliable and a great board for all around fun-ness!

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a board to lay down some zweet carves with.
