Forum Shaka Snowboard Binding - Men's

Strap into the Forum Shaka Snowboard Binding, slap your buddy a high-five, and have fun, because that's what snowboarding is all about. The Shaka's all about making that fun happen by creating a seamless connection between you and your board, adapting to your riding style, and flexing with your board. As Forum's flagship binding, the Shaka aims to give you the most natural riding experience possible.

  • Living Hinge highback aligns perfectly with heel cup no matter what the forward lean or rotation is for maximum comfort
  • Nylon baseplate features the Living Hinge disc which allows the binding to flex underfoot for optimal board feel
  • Simmer Down canting in the footbed mimics natural leg position for reduced fatigue
  • FGel cushioning in heel and toe mellows harsh landings
  • Good Vibes footpad minimizes chatter while allowing for precise board feel
  • Throwdown capstrap provides full toe coverage so your foot is fully and comfortably locked in
  • Flip Flop ankle strap can be switched from left to right and vice versa depending on how you like it

Bottom Line: Spread good vibes all over the mountain.

Larges are for 10+ size boots. you might be able to get into a medium if you maxed everything out but that isnt suggested. I would go with a Large

Natural board flex with comfort and style! These bindings do exactly what bindings are supposed to do, hold your foot to the board and get out of the way of the of what the board is supposed to do! These bad dogs have a soft high-back allowing you to tweak and bone all the way down the mountain. Combine that with the easy tool free adjustments and you can find comfort at the drop of a dime.

You just force it out the way you pushed it in. Dig your fingers under the heel, pull up and "snap shap!" Slide it forward and out. Done.
If your worried about it wearing out, don't. I was at first but I'm on my third year on some shakas. Taking them off regularly to wax and service my gear, they still snap back into place.
I'm fact I'm buying another pair. Not because my current ones wore out, but I could use the simmer down canting feature for my beat up knees.
Hope this helps.
Plus they are bindings. Feel free to wreck em like a man.

Hey, I'm riding in size 9 1/2 burton Rulers from 2010, would they work okay with a large size of the Shakas? (that's the only size in the pair I'm looking at)

Great Bindings

Great feel with durable construction. I have tried the Burton 2013 Malavita RE: Flex and the Shaka is a better binding all around. The hinged base plate is a great design. The high back lean is hard to adjust but that is the only con for these bindings. It would help if the bindings came with more detailed instructions. This binding along with the Forum Destroyer Double-Dawg is the best ride I have had.

Hey,

I assume you are asking about the size Medium. Most Vans are pretty low profile so you should be okay. However, you might as well go with the Large since that is a guarantee and you don't really want to ever max out your bindings.
