You don't need to spend more on a jacket than you did on your board. You just need the Foursquare Men's Fabian Jacket. Light 5K waterproofing, critically sealed seams, and a powder skirt all work hard to keep you the snow on the outside of your jacket (the more on the ground the better). Underarm vents help you stay cool when you're postholing up for another go at the booter you spent all day building, so you won't be drenched with sweat by the end of the sesh.

Medium. I think the small would fit you just fine, but the length would be a bit too short for your arms. Run the medium.

Well, i got the large and im 5'8 and skinny, and it dropped fine, plus i'll grow into it a lil bit. It has A LOT of pockets. especially on the inside. It is colorful and a lot of different gadgets on the coat like a powderskirt. Although it is a fairly basic coat, but you will be noticed on the hill!

what size is that?
Get the right size and it won't be that crazy baggy. i.e. i'm 6' and I run the large and it falls well. Not over the top baggy.

i wouldn't use it for those cold or snowy days because there is not insulation and it only has a 5k rating, but it will work fine if you add the right amount of layers to keep you warm.
its perfect for those days where you just wanna stay dry without dying in an insulated jacket.
also has a nice baggy fit.
i just wish the powder skirt was a bit more adjustable to keep the snow out better.

i wouldn't count on it. there is no insulation in the foursquare fabian jacket. it will protect you from the elements, but won't keep you too warm - layer under it.
