No need for that bulky underlayer; the Foursquare Ply Jacket has you covered.
The Foursquare Men’s Ply Insulated Jacket has kept you blasting through the trees racking up face shots, even though it's cold enough to turn away the nameless mobs of powderhounds. You haven’t overheated for the first time ever, thanks to the PJ’s underarm vents and breathable fabric. This jacket’s waterproof fabric has kept you wicked dry, even after you spent half-an-hour digging yourself out of that tree well. One thing’s for sure: you’re super stoked on the stretch wrist-warmers and the polyester insulation, which helps keep you warm and on your toes even when the sun goes behind the clouds.

Im 6 foot 175 pounds, Id like it to be a little baggy but not super oversized. Do you think I should go Large or XL??
I come in at 6 foot 170-175 pounds and most snowboarding jackets that are size large feel rather roomy on me. I think an XL would be huge on you (as it would be huge on me).
I'd personally be going with a Large since there is extra room.

I was thinking a medium, but haven't done much snowboarding, would this be the right size?
Hey Simon, yep size medium should do the trick. Size small could be too tight in the back and shoulders, and large will be baggy.

I was no longer legit so I had to quit, then I got this jacket
Ya gotta look like you know what your doing on the hill, otherwise you don't feel like you know what your doing. My last jacket was aright but this has the perfect combination of cool and prestige. Got it in black and its perfect for blending in without looking boring. The thumb loop gaiters are something I look for in every jacket now and I love em. Nice key clip, and very convenient outer pockets. Not as insulated as I would've liked but an extra shirt and I don't care.
This jacket means business
When I wear this jacket I feel like I'm taken seriously. Its got a nice clean look to it that says, "I'm here to get down to business." Lots of nice pockets make it easy to store your gear. I heard Pat Moore wears this jacket too. Being one of the best snowboarders in the world, you know that if he chooses something its quality.
Andreas Wiig - Wet Plate Project
“THE WET PLATE PROJECT” is a first ever, unique approach to snowboard and action photography shot by experimental lifestyle and accomplished snowboard photographer Ian Ruhter. The Foursquare Team along with Ian set out to shoot snowboarding in an entirely new way, through one of the oldest photo processes ever developed, Wet Plate Photography.
This process - also called collodion - combines dangerous chemicals and developing systems (using an 8 x by 10 Deardorff camera) to create gritty, detailed metallic images on glass, an experimental and difficult departure from modern photography. Using this process, glass plates are coated with collodion liquid, allowed to set, then sensitized in a bath of silver nitrate, and finally exposed for a few seconds, or up to several minutes, before being immersed in a bath of potassium cyanide to develop. The challenge: Ruhter needed to shorten the exposure time significantly to capture fast motion under intensely bright lights. (Note: The only other person who successfully did this was Edward Muybridge, who photographed a man riding a galloping horse in 1878).
The Ply Jacket
The Ply jacket features a waterproof/ breathability rating of 10,000mm/10,000g. It's made from the durable material Microshield. It provides an engineered shield against snow, rain, and wind while maintaining a comfortable interior environment. A durable DWR-finished outer fabric is bonded to a technical waterproof breathable membrane. This combination of fabrics allows for increased levels of breathability while also providing an unbreachable surface for outside elemnets. Mild insulation in strategic palces, 60 gm in chest to keep your core toasty and 40gm in the arms. This jacket is one of my personal favorites. Clean lines and great front pocket placement with a fixed hood.
Every Foursquare Jacket Has:
* Zoned lining systems for maximum breathability and warmth
* Adjustable powder skirt
* Jacket-to-pant interface
* Mesh lined pit vents
* Interior media pocket
* Adjustable cuff closures
* Micro fleece lined hand warmer pockets
* Micro fleece chin guard
* Glove loops
* Key clip
* Pass pocket
