With 15k waterproofing and plenty of breathability, the loose-fitting Foursquare Men's Q Snowboard Pant lets you hike for fresh tracks without being soaked in your own sweat. Your perspiration escapes through the Q’s cross-thigh inseam vents, but external water won't seep in when you’re punching it up mountain sides. Aside from hard-to-beat weather protection, Volumizer cargo pockets magically expand as you cram more stuff in them, so you can stash your gloves and goggles when it’s feeding time.
Bottom Line: More than the simple ABCs of technical features.
Bought these pants recently and wore them for the first time on my vaca to Breckenridge this past week. The conditions varied from bluebird skies to a white out and windchill. These pants worked extremely well, and I think that as long as you have some performance under layering, you can rock these pants in any conditions and be completely comfortable.
Can't say that I found any downsides, they were kind of expensive, but the bang for the buck ratio comparative to other pants on the market makes these winners.

I really want to get a pair of these snow pants but I'm not sure if I should get a medium or small. My waist size around 30 and I want the snow pants to be baggy but not huge. Should I go medium or small?
SICK SICK SICK! I have the citron in size Med (more on that later). They may not be the most durable or most water proofed but what they lack in those areas, they more than make up in steeeez. I love pockets. two huge, baffled cargos, left side is zippered and has a velcro flap. Also has a mini pocket on the outside of the cargo one. Perfect for my cable lock. RT side has just the one big cargo with a velcro flap. The right pant leg has a calf pocket(velcro flap) that is perfect for a tool or a clif bar. Two more front zippered front pockets and two rear. Inseam as well as cross thigh vents. I rode on 60 degree temp days and those vents will cool you off fast! Never had a chance to test them on cold, wintery days but if they're not fine by themselves, adding a light wicking pant should be fine. I heat up pretty quick and never wear thermals anyways.
The best thing about the pants are the hem adjustments. I like my pants baggy and these really help. I'm 5'6" exactly and I'm sure I could fit the Smalls but the Meds offer the style that I like. Even with the Smalls there might be some pant drag anyways. Inside the inseam vents is a ribbon with buttons on them. If the pants are too long, just pull on the ribbon and button them higher. Allows for about a 3 in. adjustment. This of course only pulls on the inside cuff but for the outside of the pant, there's a button that you can pin to the pant gaiter. I have never seen this before but EVERY pant should have this. Saves from shredding your pants or them from getting dirty as you're stomping through the parking lot.
Some other tid bits: glove holder, micro fleece front pockets, micro fleece on the inside seat area. Nylon lining throughout. The citron is sick...super bright if that's what you want. The pix is pretty true to color.
The only thing that would make these pants maybe a tad better are seam sealed zippers and maybe a tad heavier weight material. My edges already put a small cut on my rt pant leg. But for $130, the pants are a STEAL!!!
This pant is awesome. I'm 6' even, i wear the mediums, from the pic you can see that they are not crazy baggy or slim at all. A great all around pant. The picture features the charcoal Heather color way. Great venting in between the legs allows for optimal climate control. The mesh in the vents are taped back so they won't get stuck in the zippers. Great pant.
Is the keep cool blue a bright blue or a pale light blue? iv seen multiple pics where it coould go either way...i have the michalyria (not sure if i spelled that right) jacket from last year in the heather gray with blue stripes and was looking for a pant in the same colr blue.
The "Keep Cool" is more of a light powdery blue (true to the pictures above and on the Foursquare site). Very light. Kind of like something you would see in a baby's crib.
The Q pant is more of a sky blue color. I'm sure if it is the same color as your jacket but i'm sure it will look fine. And for the price you shouldn't care that much, this is a crazy deal for theses pants.
I'm 5'10 180 lbs, L fits baggy on me... but that's how I want it... the color I got is citron which is very bright yellowish green, quality well built in details, 15k waterproof for only $100, I knew I couldn't go wrong with it... Cant wait to test it out this coming season!!!
The stripe is black, for XXL Foursquare sizes are 38"40" (96101cm) waist width with an inseam of 34.5 inches. Large are 36"38" (9196cm), inseam of 33.5". Choose accordingly. Hope this helped.
i'd guess it to be a 40w and 36L...based on the pattern of sizing for M to L to XL, etc. the waist is adjustable, so you have 2-3 inches to play with, plus there are belt loops.
