These are not the best ski or snowboard pants I've ever owned.
These are the best PANTS I've ever owned.
Worn them skiing, playing broomball on the ice and even snowshoeing above the treeline, and I've been nothing but warm, dry, and highly visible. A huge plus is that the liners make fantastic lounge pants, so after you get to the lodge you can just pop off the outer shell and hang out in the skivvies. They even have pockets!
Seriously, if you can pull off the bright orange, get them.
Great pants, versatile, loads of pockets, removable liner. Killer!
Backcountry.com says this pant does not...
Backcountry.com says this pant does not have gaiters, is this true?
It does have gaiters. Found it out from a gear expert.
Yeah, these do have gaiters.
Thanks for the heads up, that spec has now been corrected.
yeah, for sure it has gaiters on the bottom.
Shame on you Fourqsuare!
foursquare's stock pics suuuuuuk!!!...this is what the oxford tan color looks like, much lighter than stock pic
Crazy ass colors.
First off the Olivine is way more green than the picture lets on. It's a split pea soup green. Other than the color thing these pants are the shit. Warm without the liner, baggy as all get out. They are great. I love Foursquare!
Soakin' in the Snow!
These pants look awesome out of the bag. However, they do run very large. I'm 5'10", 150 lbs, and I ordered a small and I still feel like a white boy trying to make it rappin' when I wear them. They have a lot of cool features though and look really tech. However, I wore them for the first time in Montana 2 weeks ago and we were getting dumped on by the boatload. Unfortunately, the pants were soaked by the middle of the day (not soaked through...they kept me dry, but the outer fabric was soaked) and they started to get really heavy. The Jacket I was wearing was fine, so I know it wasn't the snow or the conditions. All together I was fairly disappointed. I returned the pants.
I got the blaze leaf orange pants, the color on the website is decieving. The pants look burnt orange not blaze in the pictures. They are dope tho. The color brings life to spring riding. Sweet pockets too.
Nice Riding Pants
Very nice quality riding pants. Well constructed with nice details and extras. The removable liner/insulation is a great option making them so versatile throughout the season. I got them on sale at a Killer Price too.
The pants themselves seem really nice. Sizing Chart seems pretty accurate. The color however is WAY off (even on the foursquare site). I got the blaze leaf and they are nothing like the picture. They are like bright construction worker orange.
They match the orange that's inside the hood. Unfortunately that jacket is sold out everywhere or I would have kept the pants.
Killer pant! It comes a bit lighter in color than the picture suggests. The only problem I've ran into is trying to snap my powderskirt to the pants. It just doesn't want to work. Don't know if it's the jackets fault or the pants. Had to separate them...
These pants are absolutely amazing. Not only that but they come with
various features like liner pants, leg hem adjuster, multiple huge
cargo pocket, and a lift ticket pass pocket. Even though i havent even
hit the slopes yet they feel as if they will keep you warm and dry in
sub-zero conditions and dry in the spring. These pants fit HUGE on me
im 5 foot 2 115 and the small looked like an extra large on me but a
quick hem solved that problem. Overall these pants are a perfect buy
for your money...
(ill post up a new review as soon as i get the chance to hit the slopes)
Kept be warm, no dramas, used the thermal once finished snowboarding, great look
