I just received this watch as a Xmas gift....
I just received this watch as a Xmas gift. I can't pull the little side know to reset the time. There is no instruction manual, and the site reference in the box www.sharkbrand.com does not have this model Submersion Mid.
Nice weight, looks good, but couple small issues.
I have always loved Freestyle watches. Been buying them for 10 yrs. Good functionality, water resistant as specified. For the most part, quality craftsmanship. Two things on the not-so-great side to consider about the Submersion: 1. Thin (blue) plastic ring (yes, plastic) around the outside of the metal hand dial broke, and I only had it for about a week. In the description, there is no mention of plastic under the 'Materials' section. Now that the plastic is gone, the edge is almost sharp. I accidently whacked my cat hard in the face. Perhaps this piece should be rubber. 2. Date dial is microscopic. I have 20/20 and it takes me a while to focus and decipher itsy font. Bigger window, please!
Great looking watch, one drawback
I have owned the black trimmed female watch for two months now. It's a very sleek design with brushed steel, not chromed. I have exchanged it once already due to the black circular trim breaking, separating from the round second hand dial. I just looked at my watch and it it broken again. Back Country was fantastic about the exchange. I will exchange it again, but for the blue trimmed one, hopefully it will be a better plastic and build. Over all, I love the look of it. and it's performance.
This watch sucks
I wore this watch one time in our pool, and the faceplate was foggy forever after that. Never even dove to the bottom of the pool, which is only 5 feet. Had the watch around the surface of the pool almost the entire time. Not at all waterresistant. Do not buy.
