Too bad you weren’t wearing the Giro Chapter Helmet when you cart-wheeled down the slope. Then you would remember how you crossed your ski tips and whacked your head pretty hard. Next time you hit the slopes protect your dome with the low-profile Chapter.
- Durable, strong polycarbonate shell with EPS liner (in-mold construction) helps protect your head when you ski or ride
- Windtunnel ventilation helps keep you cool and comfortable
- Stack vent (seamless goggle and helmet ventilation integration) helps prevent your goggles from fogging up
- Inform fit system eliminates goggle-gap and nose-pinch issues
- Ratchet back fine-tune the Chapter to fit your brain bucket
- Removable ear pads
- Compatible with TuneUps systems

How would this helmet fit with the Electric EG2 goggle (which is notorious for not fitting with helmets due to it's huge size)?
I dont have the goggles but i am guessing that they wont fit properly because of the size. I had a pair of goggles that i had to get rid of since they didnt fit my helmet. I suggest you look into oakley splice. They fit great. It took me 5 goggles until i found the splice.
This helmet is really nice to my head when riding. The helmet keeps
My head warm when riding too. It is a bit expensive, but it's worth it. I hit my head coming off a rail and i didn't feel a thing. I suggest this helmet to all riders.

Great adjustable fit
Great fit and style. Adjustment in the back makes for a snug but comfortable fit.

Between the Giro Chapter and Smith Variant which one would be the lower profile?
the real deal
This one fits great, looks good, and there is no messing around, it just works. Super easy goggle holder and strap adjustments!
AWESOME AWESOME HELMET
5 stars from me!Looks amazing and it is the most low profile helmet I have worn (use to wear the Smith Vantage). It is one of the lightest helmets on the market but still feels rock solid! Fully adjustable and giro make the best fitting helmet on the market imo.Love the freestyle look of the chapter. No goggle fit problems with the Oakley Splice google because you can adjust how deep the helmet will sit!Vents are great, ear pads removable and they will easily fit headphones! Thanks GIRO!
Good functionality but tough goggle fit
Fucntionality of this helmet is very good fucntionally but it doesn't fit with a lot of goggles. The top front of the helmet comes down too low and pushes most goggles down onto your nose which is very uncomfortable. I tried a dozen goggles and non would fit properly except a cheap pair of SPY goggles.

Upgrade from the Seam
I just recieved and skied in my new "Chapter" this weekend at Mary Jane after having returned my Seam and thought the price would not indicate I personally believe the Chapter is an upgrade. The venting design, especially the front, in the Chapter may work more efficiently as I was constantly too warm in the Seam. I will potentially add the final star as I get more days/experience with the Chapter. Enjoy.
