Protect your little hot shot.

Even if your kid doesn't ski super fast, you never know who else is skiing out of control. Protect your young one with the Giro Kids' Slingshot Helmet and rest easy. This durable polycarbonate shell and shock-absorbing liner provide tons of defense against impacts great and small. And a soft, cozy interior makes the helmet far warmer than a beanie. Giro's InForm fit system lets you adjust the helmet's size to fit safely and comfortably.

Kid loves it!

My son loves this helmet and it's a very good fit. Thank god Giro finally went to the adjustable head bands inside their helmets to save me from replacing our children's every year when they outgrow the old style.

a little bulky but it saved my melon from several stictches

This looks a little bulky on my head (I have a small head, 5'2") but it's very lightweight. I fell while getting off a lift 2 months ago and the chair lift hit me smack at the back of my head. I would've ended up with several stitches on my head if I wasn't wearing a helmet.

Good toddler helmet

It fits my almost 3 year old nicely and he wears a head/neck gator under the helmet. he seems to like it and has not complained once.

Warm, functional, stylish

Great fit, easy to adjust and really warm. Works great with goggles and we could probably fit a snug beanie under it in a pinch. Light weight too. How cool is the Bolt Skurvy pattern - my little one loves it!

hi, looking at this this helmet for 9 yr old daughter - 21 inches around her head -- youth m/large?

Responded on

Yep, M/L would be the way to go and it would still have a bit of growing room so that you can hopefully get more than one season out of it.

Good Children's Helmet

The Giro Slingshot Helmet has worked great for my son, who has been skiing with it for the past two seasons. He is now 3 1/2 and is in the middle size range with a hat on underneath, so will be able to continue to wear it for another year, at least. It is easily adjustable, does not fall forward into his eyes, and is warm and comfortable too. The snap goggle strap holder in the back is strong, simple and works well. I have tested it out many times when having to do a middle of Teewinot lift at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, a short and fast quad chair ride that doesn't offer any time to waist before having to be back in order for the bar raising and unloading after, cleaning. It looks to offer good protection against hits and fortunately we have not tested it out yet! Clean looking too...not for long as he is getting stoked to add some stickers to it! Good value to boot!
