Always plays nice.
When it comes down to it, snowboarding should be about having fun whether you're carving groomer runs, sessioning a backyard box, or slashing powder on a distant peak. The Gnu Women's B-Nice BTX Snowboard offers an easy-to-ride shape and profile that's a blast to ride for everybody from first-timers to seasoned shredders.
The BTX Banana profile features rocker between the bindings with subtle camber towards the tip and tail for a catch-free, forgiving ride that floats in powder and still packs plenty of pop. Magne-Traction technology features multiple contact points along the running edges to help you navigate icy parks and slippery slopes without sliding out. It also has a medium-soft flex that makes it easy for beginners to initiate turns and provides a playful feel for jibbing, and beveled edges reduce hang-ups when you want to slide your favorite park feature sideways. The lightweight, crisp-feeling aspen and Colombian Gold wood core is made from sustainably-harvested trees, and the extruded base is easy to repair when you ding it up.
- Rocker between feet with mild camber towards tips
- True twin shape with centered stance
- Magne-Traction edges
- Medium-soft flex
- Colombian Gold and Great Lakes Aspen wood core

great all around mountain board
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is my powder board (so not my primary), and i bought it with a little extra length with that in mind. But I find myself reaching for this board (over my never summer) when it's time to ride classic Ohio ice too. I'm an advanced rider, but my best friend is a beginner and loves riding it as well. She bought it to help her advance and gain confidence in her riding skills. it's got a fun flex and great edge. I wouldn't change anything about this board and GNU makes a quality product right here in the US.
