Description

Your freestyle-fueled foray into the backcountry just got a little more awesome.

Barret Christy's award-winning all-mountain machine, the B-Pro, just got cut in half to make the Gnu B-Pro Splits C2-BTX Women's Split Board. The B-Pro Splits opens you up to a world of post-hole-free powder carving on the trusted powerful but playful C2BTX rocker-camber hybrid profile. If that—and the fact that it's a splitboard designed by women for women—didn't whisk you away, maybe the magical airbrushed Pegasus will.

  • C2 BTX puts rocker between your feet and camber from the inserts to the tip/tail for a balance of power and a catch-free, floaty feel
  • Karakoram system secures the board together with locking latches instead of hooks to offer a torsionally sound ride that feels seamless
  • Magnetraction edge uses multiple contact points which slice, dice, and grip to ice and choppy snow with supreme serrated goodness
  • Bio-polymer topsheet scraps harmful materials and replaces it with a topsheet formulated from magical beans
  • LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) is a thermo-treated polyester fiber that’s built into the board to quiet chatter and create a smooth, poppy, lightweight ride
  • Altered Genetics 2 core combines bamboo, balsa, and aspen wood for a construction that’s lively, lightweight, and strong
  • True twin geometry keeps this backcountry slayer true to its freestyle roots
  • Flex adjusts by size to offer an overall medium flex dictated by suggested rider weight per length of board
  • Handbuilt with quality in the USA by snowboarders with jobs
  • Part of proceeds support Boarding For Breast Cancer, visit b4bc.org to learn more

Hello,
Are the bindings included in the price?
If not what binding do you recommend?

Hey Oli,

No bindings are included with this board. You can really use any binding you want if you use the Voile Universal kit. You'll most likely want to go with something at least medium-stiff and lightweight, but everyone has their preferences.
You may want to check out the Union Trilogy binding. Really lightweight, mid-stiff binding that will hold up to some serious abuse.

I've wanted a splitty for so long and was super stoked to see GNU come out with the amazing B-Pro board in the split. I've been riding the B-Pro 152 for the last 3 years and the split rides just as well for the most part. I can't complain for a second about its performance in pow. It's a bit squirly on hard pack "rollecoaster" exits that come with some of our runs in the Tetons but I think that's just the nature of riding a board that's cut in half :P
Can't say enough good things about this board. Woo hoo!

In love...

I ordered the 152 b pro split but when I got it it looked significantly narrower than my b pro of the same length, sure enough the waist measured 23.6 cm. it is supposed to be 24.4; kind of a big difference.... I called Mervin sent in pics and they checked d zinto out; turns out all of the boards they had made so far in that length we're jacked up. They offered to return it under warranty but I just returned it to backcountry and bought the 155 which is spec on waist width..... Kinda sloppy production mervin.....
