Gnu B-Street BTX Snowboard - Women's - 2009

You like to ride the banana in a variety of different places. GNU understands, and it made the Women’s B-Street BTX Snowboard with a Banana Technology that lends this freestyle board a soft flex for urban rails, terrain parks, and icy or powdery steeps.

  • Banana technology adds a pre-bent rocker between your feet for edge-hold and pop
  • Magne-Traction uses seven points of contact to boost control and turn initiation in icy pipes
  • True twin shape for riding switch
  • Sintered, wax-infused base for easy repair
  • Nick Russian’s artwork mixes glamour and grit for a unique look

Bottom Line: B Street Banana.

Sick board

I rode this board for a test fest in Michigan and fell in looove with it! When it didn't make Transworlds "good wood" list, I was super bummed and considered not getting it... my boardshop reminded me that tws shouldnt guide my opinion on whats a good board or not, especially when I've already rode all the boards that were tested. so I got it and I'm sooo happy with it!
This board is super legit for park and I loved the magna traction...especially having to ride on Michigan's ice most of the time. It has great pop and sick flex for buttering on boxes. I'm 5'9 and I tested the 149 but got the 153...I just wanted a slightly bigger board for cruising powder and for more stability on jumps, but if you never set foot outside the park, 143 is your best bet.

Brilliant board. The magne traction really does actually work, and its amazing how much it does, i was really surprised. i barely noticed it was icy until i rode with my friend who kept slipping out on the ice. You can have edges but still not catch them in the park, i almost (and probably definitely should have) caught a few back edges messing about, but you can get out of all sorts of sticky situations, and it seems really hard to catch an edge.
Really fast on the flats, can go flat base. Soft but still is fine going along at speed. Also in the powder it was fine. I didnt get massive amounts this trip but even though iv gone down from a 144 to a 141 it was still fine in the powder, float along nicely and definitely didnt have to put so much effort leaning my weight backwards aas i used to on my custom.
It is a bit more expensive, but its definitely worth it. Can use it as an all around board, and can go a bit smaller which makes it realy easy to spin arouns on.
100% happy, even though it cost me a bomb to get it sent to the UK!!

BEAUTIFUL

I bought this board in one of the local shops and its sick. Graphics look way better in person, and the ride is amazing. I buy most things online, but if your not from the states def check the price in your shops. The shipping on this guy made it quite a bit more expensive online than buying it in person.

This is the best board I have ever ridden. Honestly it is amazing! Heaps of flex, heaps of pop, turns like a dream! Can't be happier with it and don't think I will ever get anything else unless Gnu change it...
