Hi guys!! i love this board but am unsure which size to go for...im heading into my second season and would like to venture into the park for the first time but i also want something i can carve at speed in icy australian conditions. I am 5'6'' 143lbs...which size would you recommend??
149. The 149 is going to be easy to handle and you will improve in the park at a faster pace with a smaller board.
LOVE, love lovvvve GNU!
I've been riding the GNU banana/magna traction boards for a few years now and will NOT switch! They ride *awesome* in east coast conditions (ice, hard pack) and also ride as well in powder. I did my first boardslide with this model...easy as can be. The board naturally wants to ride the boxes and rails! Catch free and smooth sailing...I'm in love for sure! I ride both the BStreet and BNice....equally as good on all types of snow. They give you great confidence, push your riding skills and look so damn good (great graphics)! What more could you ask for??!!
I have been riding GNU's for the past few years. First the BNice now the BStreet and I definitely prefer the the BStreet! It works ALL over the mountain and it's fabulous on boxes! I made my first boardslide on this model and it felt so smooth and easy....effortless! It really enjoys the park :) I personally love the graphics too...they look much better in person. Bright, vibrant and bold. You can see this board from a mile away! Thumbs up+++++++++
i think last years graphics are better... but in reality they're basically is no difference except the graphics
I have last years version but I don't think they made too many major changes so it should still be relevant =) It's a super fun board, light and flexy. It's also surprisingly good on groomers and just all mountain riding. Love the magne-traction on the ice too--makes me feel SO much more secure in icy conditions, especially when I'm on the East Coast.
This board is everything it's hyped up to be. I rode a traditional camber board for 2 years and this was just amazing, and LIGHT! awesome jib board, awesome carving downhill. very very cool design, its purdy sexy. the only reason why i gave it 4 stars is that someone hit the tail of my board, it wasn't even hard and it caused a minor nick on the top sheet which i had to fix with epoxy. i was a bit sad that day.

hay all i want to buy this board for my misses she is 5.6, 58kg size 7.5 boot what the best size she rides the mountain not so much park but she is lerning
The 149 would be a good size for her. She is tall but rather slim so you don't want to go with a board that will be too much for her. a 149 will def be big enough but she will be able to control it!! I am sure she will be sooo stoked this is an awesome board!
