More bang for your buck than a half-off sale at the adult video store.

GNU designed the Carbon Credit Series Wide BTX Snowboard as a rock-solid all-mountain ride for big-footers more likely to eat canned ravioli than caviar. The Banana Tech twin rocker shape lifts your tip and tail for a fun ride that shreds parks or powder with equal prowess, and Magne-Traction edges add five bonus contact points for unrivaled edge grip in all snow conditions.

I would like to buy this board as I really interested in trying 'Magna Traction' & or 'Bananah Tech' .
I am 6' and 150lb with size US9 boot.
I wonder what length (156/159?) should I get.
Do I need wide?
Please kindly help!
Thanks a lot!

i would go with the 156, contrary to popular belief the board size is more geared twords weight rather than height. I just bought this board this year and for the price it is awesome. It has some flex to it but not too much and as far as the magna traction(it is awesome, kiss those times when you lose an edge on an ice patch goodbye!)...a board with out it the edge has 2 points of contact with the snow and with M-T it has 7.... so with all the aboved mention this is a great all -mountian board, as far as wide or reg, i ride with a size 11 boot with room on my wide, so best bet would be to find a dealer that carriers the board and step right on and you should be able to tell. you might be able to get a reg but the carbon credit has kinda a medium wide so the wide is slightly slimmer than what you would expect

The best board for the price

This board is so wonderful. I LOVE her! I have the 09/10 edition, and its like a dream everytime I ride on her. She rides hard, fast, and she never loses her grip on the... snow. Her name is Tina. Tina didn't cost that much either, surprisingly cheap for how wonderful her ride is. The best part is she is Just perfect on everything. hands down.

I am 6'0 185-190lbs 11.5-12 boot...what size would you recommend me to get...156w/159w or 156/159?

Responded on

You don't need a wide with this board, any waist width around 255mm to 260mm is what you'll want, any wider than that and it will be noticeably harder to turn on the board due to the width. Unless you're getting this strictly for powder you won't want a board with a waist way above 260mm. For park stuff go for a 156 and if you ride more all mountain the 159 will do it.

shredded real nice

I rode this board for the first time @ Jackson Hole. Great control and worked well in powder. I would recommend this board to anybody.

Sweet Board!

I really like this board a lot! Fits my rising style perfectly! Holds an edge real well and has decent POP to it! I ride where there is a lot of ice and it keeps great reaction and where the POW was it just floated right along!

Sweet Board!

I want to purchase this board. I'm 6'1 170lbs, size 12 foot. Not sure what size would fit my riding style. I like tree runs and deep pow.. I currently ride a 07' 159 NS revolver Wide. I hear you can downsize on these style boards?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Bang for the buck

I would take this board toe to toe with any other board and I believe that you'll get more value out of this deck for the dollar than any other.
+ Magnetraction, an expensiv, hand built tech.
+ Sintered Base (despite what the description says)
+ Aspen Wood Core
+ EISS internal birch sidewalls.

Beginner to advanced riders can appreciate this one.
