Gnu Street Series BTX Snowboard - 2008

If you can't figure out what GNU designed the Street Series BTX Snowboard for, then you have no business riding one. Thanks to Banana Technology, this GNU board nose presses like nothing else you've ever ridden. That double-kink down the street from your house better run for its life. This board also includes Magne-Traction edges to provide solid control in the iciest of terrain parks, and the reverse-camber shape even gives you enough float to take this board into the pow. Never before has a jib board been so versatile. *We have no control over which base color you get, so get ready for a surprise.

Bottom Line: Yeah, it's a jib board, but you could pretty much ride anything with it.

i had last seasons version of this board actually make that 2 as the first one snapped across the nose and cracked in the tail just flatground buttering in like 4 rides then the replacement did the same in about 4 rides aswell so i got myself a salomon arnie 5000 which rocks the street is a fun board but just to soft and weak in the tips and according to my local shop nothing has changed this seasin except the banana and magna so if you want a board like this there is better options like the salomon arnie 5000, stepchild jib stick and ride DH DFC edition.

BTX soft ripper

The Gnu SS BTX is a decent board. Think of it as a Skate Bananas younger softer brother. I liked the flex on the 154 I rode for 2 weeks on Mt Hood this summer. Easy to butter etc. The magnatraction can't be beat when ripping an icy pipe too. I did not have any issues with mine breaking at all when I was out there. I think the new BTX is a much nicer, stronger board than last years version, which was not BTX and costs $100 less.

No Camber, No Combo

By:

Camber provides balancing points(your feet) for you to change speed/direction on rails. Banana's oppisite camber has a tendency to just bounce the board off the rail. Jibbing is all about staying on the rail. No Camber, No Combo.

Skeet skeeet street street series

You'll never find a better jib board. Never. Oh yeah, then when you can actually afford a lift ticket and you take this mid-wide board up to the resort on a powder day, it will ride better than just about any other board on the mountain and float better too.
So buy a board just for their graphics and marketing, or buy this board that will perform and has sick graphics!
