Flesh wounds are now considered conceptual art...hmmm, that's weird.
The GoldCoast Connect Longboard is a bite-sized street-surfer which is gripped and ready to rip. Diplaying graphics by mixed media artist Pete Panciera, the underside of the Connect is visually appealing, unlike the road rash you will receive from crashing and sliding on the pavement. The bright side of it all is, when you're layed-out in the gutter, bleeding, at least you can admire the artwork and listen to the gentle whirling of the Connects still-spinning wheels by your ear.
- Shovel shape, deep concave, 27in deck length, and kicktail for ripping bowls and navigating traffic
- Includes GoldCoast 57mm, 85a Vicious wheels, which perform in all disciplines of longboarding
- Die cut griptape shows sections of the contrasting topsheet and features a printed graphic
- Wheel colors on completes may vary, but the deck graphic will be as pictured

Another question about getting a mini-longboard...
Another question about getting a mini-longboard for a kid. Considering getting this one, or a speed demon duster. Will additional board width and wheel diameter help or hurt. I'm only looking at boards that are 30" or shorter and seem fairly stable. My son is a large 7. Can skate on his cruddy Toys R Us but barely. I learned at his age (in the 70s) on a banana cruiser and it was a blast.
The wheels are way too soft. I got the board and went skating and after about an hour or two the wheels totally disintegrated on me. If your going to get this board i would suggest getting some new wheels with it. but other than that the board was fun while it lasted very loose and great for carving.

I am buying a longboard for a 9 year old...
I am buying a longboard for a 9 year old girl. Is there anything I should know to ensure what I purchase is suitable for a petite little girl?
This would be a good one because it is a shorter cruiser board. This will make it easier for her to handle. Also if she is just beginning you can tighten up the kingpin just a bit (nut in middle of the trucks) and it wont turn quite as easily and she will be able to keep her balance a bit easier.
GoldCoast Connect - Love it!
I love this Cruiser Shape! Its a blast to skate, and the soft wheels are Great... Its light too, perfect to Travel with.
