GoPro Suction Cup Mount

Shoot the most obscure angles possible when you use the GoPro Suction Cup Mount to attach your GoPro HD Hero camera to your boat, car, or motorcycle. An industrial-strength suction cup (think British spy gear) and easily adjustable mounting system allow you to safely secure your camera to any flat, smooth surface. Not convinced? This mount withstood speeds up to 135mph when tested on GoPro’s F1000 race car.

Bottom Line: Strong enough for your speeding habit.

I purchased the Go Pro Motor sports package that included this suction cup. The first day I used the suction cup, I drove 40 miles on the freeway with it staying on just fine. On the way back, it held fine until we reached the top speed of the trip. My Go Pro was ripped of my car at 75 miles per hour and thrown onto I80. I eventually found my camera and the pieces while hiking up and down Parleys. Sweet idea and great for slow, good weather condition days. Bottom line: Just remember you are strapping a $300 investment to something.

it probably won't hold very well on your snowboard since your board is going to be flexing and vibrating. Go ahead and try it just make sure you have it teathered to your binding or something so when it does fall off you don't loose it. ALWAYS TEATHER!

Low Light Time Laps Test on myDrive Home

By: Dogfunk.com Employee
December 7, 2012

I got my new HERO 3 Black Edition today and HAD to try it out on the way home to test it's legendary low light advancements I've been hearing about, and I've got to say they were better than I expected! The light outside was darker than it looks in this time laps. I shot this on the Time Laps photo mode taking 1 12mp photo every 5 seconds and then sped each photo up to 0.1 second in iMovie. I recommend everyone get this camera as it is a HUGE improvement on the HERO2!

Used on a Kiteboard and a Wall!

This suction cup mount is amazingly strong! I use it on my kiteboard (with a leash just in case) and it hasn't come off yet! I've also got it to stick in a wall for about 2 minutes! It is worth getting just make sure you have it tethered to something just in case it fall off.

It Sucks... In A Good Way!

I bought this to use on my Kiteboard and I was amazed at how well it stays on the board! The thing suctions onto the flat smooth surface of the board and then you flip the switch up and it locks it on there! I had a leash on it just in case and I will continue to put the leash on it. This will definitely stay on your board, car, window, etc...
