Grenade Oven Mitten - 2010

Enjoy the best of both worlds with the convertible Grenade Oven Mitten; not only will you enjoy warm fingers all winter long, but you’ll also be able to complete simple addition and subtraction problems when you access your fingers. Because it’s a mitten, the Oven holds in more heat than a traditional glove and keeps your digits warm while you ride the snail chair. The waterproof breathable insert keeps out wetness while you’re slaying and dragging your hand through the fluff. The mitt’s fold-over flap snaps against the back of your hand and reveals your fingers, which are housed in the same stretchy, grippy fabric found in the popular Grenade CC935 Glove. Use your free-range fingers to adjust your bindings, light a smoke, or crunch numbers to make sure you have room in your van for the random shredding ladies, who asked you for a ride into town.

Bottom Line: If not, they can always sit on laps.

How warm are these? Good enough for sub-zero temps? Also is it less warm because the mitten part peels back (to reveal the green liner)?

Good gloves. Real warm. The afghan color way is goofy looking but I didn't care, I was shopping by price! I have the XL's, my hand measures 7 3/4", the gloves are a little big. Large would've been perfect. The zippered flap doesn't seem to affect warmth at all.

I'm a chick and want a pair of these but don't know what

I'm a chick and want a pair of these but don't know what size to get. I wear a medium/large in women's, so I'm thinking a medium in men's...is that about right?

The best way to determine size is to measure the length of your hand. Here is the sizing chart for Grenade Gloves:

Small = 7" or 17.8cm
Medium = 7.5" or 19cm
Large = 7.75" or 19.7cm
XL = 8" or 20.3cm

NOTE: The numbers above represent measurements from the outside of the gloves not the inside liners. Measure your hand from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist.

I got Xl size, because my dakine gloves(L) was too small for me, but this mittens are gigantic! but I like them this way. It's very very warm ones, and comfortable. And I even use them like wallet, for change) After one hour of park riding "grenade" letters just fall down. but it's not so bad, for me.
After all good price for good thing.

Dogfunk.com can ship the Grenade brand to Canada. But I'm not finding any retailers listed on Grenade's site for Alberta.
