Grenade Schizoid Glove - 2008

Hey, crazy. Yeah, you. Stop trying to seduce the garbage can and check out the Grenade Schizoid Glove. Apparently, Grenade was thinking of you when they came up with this snowboarding glove. Who knows why, ‘cause you can’t even snowboard, but look, it even has compartments on the back for your paperclips and soy sauce packets. The Permax insert—dude, stop yelling, we can’t hear you—the Permax insert is totally waterproof, and grape-juice-proof if you want to drink from it, since we know you do. The leather shell has spraypaint stencil graphics, which would be great if you hadn’t had that little run-in with the airbrusher at Six Flags last summer. Now it just seems like it’s making fun of you.

Bottom Line: Please don’t eat the glove, schizo.

Recommended in dry cold conditions

Very warm gloves in dry conditions - but if you do purchase a pair of these make sure you keep the Nikwax handy as you need to waterproof them on a regular basis!! Great price here on Dogfunk

WEAK!

By:

These gloves wear out really fast with any kind of real use... Spring glove, if that. These gloves have 2 good qualities.. (1) the two stash pockets in each glove, and (2) the wide velcro strap to tighten the wrist. The white coating wears off very quickly with any contact with snow, same with the black designs. Also the waterproofing is bluntly pathetic. I would barely recommend these even on warm days. I'd buy them for 20, maybe!

Leather

The Leather is nice it provides full range of motion in the glove, is easy to slip in and out of, although ice and slush wear it down pretty quickly. Grenade makes great leather gloves, probably best recommended as a spring/pipe glove.

Soft glove for kids

By:
April 2, 2009

The X-Large fits like a Medium and the fingers don't prevent water from penetrating. The outter white color rubs off within days as though it's spray painted on and reveals the grey base material. Not a glove for serious riders, although it's soft and broken-in for casual wear.

Sick gloves!

A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The lining is soft and warm. The full leather shell is extremely dexterous, but is still great at keeping you warm and dry. The studs add just a bit of bling!
