Thoroughly tested on the streets of Amsterdam, the Hemp Hoodlamb Classic Hoodlamb Jacket is your new partner in crime. This casual jacket's hemp and organic cotton twill shell and hemp satifur lining will keep you warm while you wait in line at a show or just chill on the corner. A secret canno lined pocket keeps the goods safe and secure, while the integrated Rizla paper dispenser is always ready to roll. Slip your hands in the fur lined front pockets to warm up. This season, Hemp Hoodlamb gave the Classic Jacket an inside document pocket to keep your passport and other important papers safe.

Bottom Line: The Hemp Hoodlamb Classic Jacket\227high fashion for hash bars.
Super comfy, I wear large size t shirts but can slip into a medium and I ordered a large hoodlamb, fits great. I was looking for a onestopshop for when it gets cold, sometimes i dont want to have to deal with layers, this garment solves all those problems for me. I live in coastal central California so, adjust your climate expectations as necessary, a larger coat for layering in super cold places might be with considering. It was like 40F and dropping last evening, took my dog for a walk, felt great. No sunglasses pocket like earlier versions, my housemate has one...Tho...mine has thumb holes on the sleeve cuffs, he was jealous. No complaints, until our next heat wave and I have to take it off. Shi.
It means those measurements are just the flat garment rather than circumference. So if the 1/2 chest measurement is 23", the actual circumference would be 46". Again, these are measurements of the actual garment, not what your measurements need to be in order for it to fit. Hope that makes sense.
I have to start with the fact that I saw this jacket for the first time many years ago. I was in love, but could not part with the $300+ for a jacket when I lived in socal. I live in norcal now where a good jacket is worth its weight in gold. That is what led me to purchase it this year. However, it is NOT the jacket that I fell in love with so many years ago. Production has changed and the inside fur is made from a different material or different supplier, the secret pockets are fewer and the rolling paper pocket is not where I remember it being. Aside from that, the jacket is great. It is a good cut for my body shape(I'm short, not freak show short, but it doesn't fit huge and make me look like a munchkin like some jackets can), super warm, amazingly comfy, and best fo all I got it for like $100 off the list price for some damn reason. Zipper was kinda janky when I first tried it, but has sorted itself out and I have no issues now. Is this the best jacket on the face of the earth, probably not, but is pretty fucking dope? Yes it certainly is.

the inside is so soft u could fall asleep in it , the out side is smooth and u can move around really easy in this coat ! no matter if it's just to keep warm or to snowboard i know u would be totally happy with this ! i know i am !!
As an Australian where at home winter never goes below 15C, then going on exchange to Germany, this jacket became my god. I have to say sooner or later i was preaching my deity to everyone I knew AMAZING MUST HAVE!
*faux fur is so great i slept on it after a party...
i guess its too late now cause i already bought it but in regards to the classic hoodlamb in brown...how dark is the brown? light brown? dark brown? chocolate brown? coffee brown? etc.
regardless, fantastic jacket i already have the natural and green. i'm 6'0 175 lbs and i have a L and XL and they're both great.
this is by far the best piece of clothing that I have ever owned. It is not only incredibly soft but it looks tight and its got all the pockets I could ever want. If you have the opportunity to own this DO NOT pass it up because u will miss out on the best jacket ever created by humans.
I got mine on sale in Arctic Cammo. Its a great jacket and its incredibly toasty! Even the sleeves are lined, which a lot of jacket manufacturers skimp on to save money. Its good for almost any but severe wet weather!
My measurements are about 37" (bust) 31" (waist) 40" (hips). I'm 5'3". I usually wear sz 7/8. I would like to comfortably fit a sweater under the jacket. Would medium work?
This is the best winter coat ever!!! I live in the North East of the US and this jacket holds up to any winters it's seen. I've had it for about 3 years or so and it's in great condition and very toasty and breaks in nicely. It's held up to the cold winters of Quebec City, Canada as well. People will tell you constantly, "That looks warm", and the faux fur is soft as a fresh born baby. And the fur lines the entire inside and the hand pockets in the front. It's got pull strings to tighen up the hold around your dome and pull strings to pull the waist closer to your abdomen. Plus the secret pocket(s) hold your stash safely and stealthy from po-po jack. The zippers are dynamite too and have never crapped out on me and I typically put shit in every pocket :) Admittedly, the one secret stash pocket zipper is a little tricky to use and it's not easily accessible.. but hey, you don't want any piggies getting in there anyways so it's kinda a bonus.
This jacket is well worth the money and don't leave home without it. By the way, they also have made a bullet-proof edition in case you live in those areas where you need to pack heat.
And I fully agree with Jbizzle's review... "best jacket ever created by humans."
P.S. Remember where the secret pocket(s) are or don't... because from the first Winter season to the next you may forget, like I did... and when you "rediscover" them it's like Christmas all over again! Really investigate this jacket because you have to search for the stash pockets.
hoping someone can help.. gonna order one of these, but totally unsure of what size.. see conflicting reviews/sizing charts etc, everywhere i look. basically im around 5'8"/9".. 175lbs.. only about 11% body fat so id guess im like a medium build or so.. basically an athletic build, but im vegan so im not bulky. thats a lot of info haha.. anyway, im thinking large.. want it to have a little room, not tight.. also dont want it big and baggy like im hustlin caprisuns on the corner or front and grunt.. a sophisticated pimp. is large what im going for?
Hey Jeremy, this jacket is sized generously. I would say go with your normal jacket size, or if you're in between size down. I'm 6 feet tall and 150 lbs (different body type than you) and the large fit me on the loose side.
The sizing chart's handy. Click it above the green Add To Cart button and measure yourself up. Most important measurements would be chest and sleeve length.
Also, we've got a 100% guaranteed exchange/return policy. So you can either order two and return one, or order one and exchange it for another if you choose. Either way you'll be stoked. Enjoy, the HH jackets are awesome.
If quality is King, these men are the Masters of the Universe!
Made of super tough hemp, well woven, and lined with fuzzy goodness. These jackets are warm, wear well and look great.
I loved my green so much that I bought a brown. Seriously, I did that. I plan on keeping this bad boy forever.
Ok, bad boy is not a good description, cuz this shit is so soft on the inside, you want it against your skin like a hot, big boobed blonde. Yea, this coat is that rad.
You can't go wrong with HH.
Sizing: Arms are not too long, I have a L in green, and an XL in brown. I find that the green rides up my butt when I walk. The XL does not have that issue. I'm a large build, big guy.
The XL looks a bit more urban, but its still fits well.
The pockets are super deep, I mean, won't loose your shit, deep.
Hey guys i was wondering if you could help me find my size. I am 5'4", around 115 pounds and a pretty slim build. Should i get small or medium?? I want it to be a little loose but not so big its in the way and also im gonna grow a little more so i want to know if i should go with small or medium. Does it run small or large??
Mine just came in the mail today... Soooooo dope. This thing is TOP quality. Super warm, bit of a stiff shell but the inside is lined with clouds I'm pretty sure so its all gravy. Pockets are huge, and the hidden pocket is cutthroat. If you have the chance to invest in one of these I highley recomend it.
thanks to everyone that helped me out in finding the rite coat . it took a couple of tries but i got my coat today ( early ) was a nice surprise ! and i LOVE it !
just to add 1 last thing , i am 200 pounds BUT a chick ! i am 5 foot 8 and i think the Large would have fit me just fine . i went with the XL , and honestly it took me so long to find it i am not letting it go .... if i was absolute that is the ONLY way i would Exchange it for the LARGE !!!
I'm 5"7, 150. I'd say BC/DF's listed sizes for the Hemp Hoodlamb Classic are misleading. I normally wear a jacket in large, which is my size. The Hoodlamb is generously cut. It feels right in medium, just a perfect fit. If I wanted it baggier and looser fitting, I would go up a size to large. With this brand, wear it one size down from your usual jacket size.
I'd probably put you in the XXL. It's a pretty generously sized coat, so depending on how big or small your upper body is, you may be able to fit into the XL.

When I first tried this jacket on I was ecstatic. It fit great and looked better than I had expected. The only disappointment was that I thought this jacket was 100% natural fiber (hemp and cotton). This web site is a little misleading. If you look at the "Material" description it reads: "[shell], 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton; [lining], 20% hemp satifur ".
Maybe I should have researched more on what "Hemp Satifur" is but the lining is actually made up of the following: 20% Hemp, 35% recycled PET, 45% acrylic satifur.
I know it's almost impossible to find, but I though I had found a plastic free jacket with no synthetic material.
This jacket was probably one of the best purchases I have ever made. Super crafty design, warm and fits perfect! It is so nice it takes a bit to soak in.
Ordered on a Sunday and it was at my doorstep early on Tuesday. Waaaay fast shipping and the price is right! Thanks so much.
- Also, for those trying to figure out their size, I am 6 ft 190 lbs built and the Large is a perfect size. Hope it helps.
Sizing question - im 6'0'' pushing 6'1'' and am around 150 lbs my measurements seem to be mostly in the small category according to the sizing chart but will the jacket not be long enough due to my lanky build?... not sure which size to get, small or med?
I'm happy with the medium. Some brands run large. This is a fairly big coat. Every one else seems to size men's coats like they fit on tiny girls. Not Headlamb!
I'm 6' 150 lbs, and have this jacket in a large. It's too big and I think I would be happiest with a medium. That said, the small would have been too small for me. Go with the medium and you'll be stoked.
The pack of papes is removable, and you really don't need to wash the jacket unless it gets really dirty. Definitely don't throw it in the dryer.. let it air dry.
like every other view... this jacket is the best jakcet ive ever owned. keeps you so warm with just a t-shirt on under and it has great wind protection. the only thing I didnt like was that there wasnt any inside pockets on the right side. I got the grey one, and it looks like there may be some differences between the colors such as an extra zipper piece on some of them. My grey one has an extra piece so that i can zip up from the bottom but others dont look like they do. anyways its a sick jacket. get it. im 5-10, 145lb and a medium fits perfect
I will admit it is a pretty cool jacket other than the large logo across the back. . Some may luke it -edgy boarder street type. I returned mine for that reason. The pic's don't show it at all. Digg the jacket though.........Just wish it came without the logo across the back.
this thing is kinda pricey for me so im wondering if i were to get one wat size i would get? i like my jackets kinda baggy and im lik 5'9" or 5'10" and like 130 wat size would i get?
The fastest shiping ever and the jacket itself is pure gem, stylish, warm, waterproof, clever hidden pockets and eco-everything the real urban soldier needs. Now we don't have excuse for not breaking the system..
This is a serious cold weather coat. It is sooo warm and the faux fur really makes it extra toasty. I have been wearing it during this drastic cold spell in NY and its battled it well. There is generous pocket space and the hood has all the warmth that the rest of the jacket does. I am 6'3'' 250 and this coat fits great(xxl). There are two added surprises. First, a 'patented' paper dispenser(with a pack included) and a secret pocket somewhere which I still haven't found. Also, it's made with much hemp so you'll be environmentally friendly as well.
The only 2 slight drawbacks are the the front pockets have no insulation on the outside facing lining, so your hands might get a little cold(probably not) and the jacket is heavy. I don't mind the weight but if you are looking for lightweight winter gear, this is not it.
All in all it is a GREAT winter coat. Besides, Snoop Dog wears one.
This jacket runs loose and long. Personally, I think the XL will be good for you because I'm 6 feet tall and 160 lbs (yeah pretty skinny) and have this jacket in large. Like you, I like my jackets pretty baggy and the large is. I could run the medium if I wanted a more fitted jacket.
And if my suggestion sucks and the XL doesn't work out, we always offer free exchanges at anytime. Hope that helps.

this jacket is quite simply the tits. by far the dopest item ive ever owned. i dont care how cold it is, even if you wear only a t-shirt under this, youll be warm. the fur is super duper cozy, and the hidden pocket for your stash is awesome. and it comes with Raw papers, which are pretty legit. the only downside to owning this jacket is that your friends will be mad at you for not letting them put it on. i treat it like i would my first born child.
This is an amazingly comfy jacket. It has a vast assortment of pockets, including the two secret ones! The second secret pocket is on the left...hidden in a zipper?! You'll find it if ya look. I think it is a perfect jacket all around. It is a bit heavy, but I actually like that about the jacket. I am very pleased with my purchase!
Hi :) I was looking to buy a sweet jacket for my boyfriend, but i'm worried about sizing... i know he normally buys a large for most things but in the colour i want they only have medium or extra-large. He's maybe 5'8 or 5'9, long arms, but pretty slim. Any advice?
This jacket is extremely toasty, with faux fur throughout the body and arms. This is my go-to jacket when it's super cold out. It's as warm as a down jacket.
I have been in the market for a pedestrian jacket, that is not my snow jacket, for for a while. As soon as I saw this I had to have it. If you are in the market for a lightweight piece, this is not for you. This is chronic outerwear for about town. The lining has a great look and feel, and the pocketing scheme is super intelligent. I was stoked that the hood is fixed and lined for those cold, wet winter days. Ditch your snow coat and pick up one of these, it is really unique and you will not be disappointed. Just wait until you see the packaging this lil nugget comes in.
I agree completely I love my hoodlambs. The original is a bit heavier duty than the tech 420 but they both are super warm. The tech420 weighs 6lbs I imagine the original is about 8. These are the only winter coat I'll ever wear again! Must if ur looking for the most chronic coat u can get!
Hey kids, we've got more Classic jackets on the way in Black and Green. Unfortunately they won't be here in time for xmas, but i expect them around the first or second week of January. Hold tight til then!
Write your question here... what are the size's like, I'm about 39 on the chest & 31 at the waist but I usually go for a small and it fits perfect cause I don't like my stuff too baggy. Is it a big fit, or should I go for the medium.
A friend of mine left his hoodlamb jacket in my car aout a year ago. Told him I had it and he said "just wear it till I can get it" so I got to sport it for about 6 months!
Started to get it pretty dirty so got it dry cleaned and called it quits before something bad happened to it.
This Xmas the 'rents got me one, Black, and I love it! The only thing thats "wack" is the left handed zipper is kind of weird, but its not my only jacket with one so there must be a reason for it.
One thing that could be added is a little "fact" tag or something. what the jackets made out of, so when people ask I can just check it and tell them instead of having to remember... the papers it comes with helps me to forget...
The jacket is perfect! Went out in 26 degree weather with just a t-shirt under it and was warn, then went in 65 degree weather and wasn't hot.
