Description

Get down in some down.

The terrifically toasty Holden Women's Estelle Down Jacket features high-loft down fill to keep you cozy in even the coldest climates. The recycled polyester lining and solvent-free construction are part of Holden's commitment to making eco-conscious products, while the body features angled baffles to ensure even loft and offer a flattering, feminine look.

A soft, supple ripstop nylon fabric keeps the weight to a minimum while maintaining a high level of durability, and it's treated with a PFOA-free DWR coating that keeps you dry while drastically limiting the harmful byproducts of traditional DWR applications. Down insulation offers an unmatched warmth-to-weight ratio to help you stay comfy on the coldest days of the season without adding a ton of bulk. Taped seams prevent moisture from seeping in and compromising your coziness, and the drop-tail hem adds a stylish touch that also keeps your butt warm when you're on the lift.

  • Nylon 66 ripstop fabric
  • PFOA-free DWR coating
  • 550-fill down insulation
  • Fully taped seams

Like being wrapped in warmth

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I have worn this jacket for the past 5 days in a row. It's been hovering between -3 and 0 and I've been toasty warm, even running around with it unzipped. Literally felt like I was wrapped in a blanket. I bought a medium though I usually buy smalls. I wanted room for layers and the inevitable extra 5 pounds i'll put on. I love how long it is in the back and the rounded hem is nice a touch. It's definitely puffy and I have seen plenty of slimmer down jackets. I tried an ultra thin 800 fill jacket from Mountain Hardwear and I preferred this one. Despite being only 550 fill down, I feel warmer in it. The blue color is gorgeous!
