I'm 6 feet tall and a 22 inch outseam comes to the bottom of my knee. A 20 inch outseam comes to the top of my kneecap.

Just depends how tall you are, here are the specs:
Outseam: 22 in
Inseam: 11 in

I almost always fit either a 33 or 34. I got these in a 34 and these are the first shorts that feel tight. All my other brands in 34 actually are loose so maybe go up a size in these. Other than that great colors and quality!
