Independent is the original and the best. Because they are a tad bit heavier than other trucks, they last much longer and are far less likely to break. Lighter trucks break faster, making nearly every other truck out there inferior to Independents.

Just like they've always been made: indestructible. A bit heavier than the competition, but if you have the extra leg power defintely worth it in my opinion. The speed and nature of how they flip is great too.
