Ipath Cricket Skate Shoe - Men's - 2009
More classic than Mike Tyson’s Punchout, the Ipath Men’s Cricket Classics Skate Shoe have been the cool rulers on the street since we were back in Santa Cruz getting Trainwrecked by our man Galen. A hemp upper reinforced with leather provides strength and support, and Ipath added a burly rubber sole for hustlers on the grind.
Bottom Line: Chirp chirp.

These shoes are not made for skating. The hemp is a good quality, but the soles are crap. I skated in them for two weeks before the soles fall off... literally.

I got these shoes and they were sweet loooking and I really liked them. After 3 months of casual street use they were completly torn apart and the hemp was destroyed. Nice shoe, no durability.

Just wondering if anyone can confirm that these shoes are partially composed by leather and suede as stated on this site.
I'm asking because I don't use animal products and the iPath website have these shoes listed under their "vegan" products.
So, do these shoes use real or synthetic suede and leather?

The Ipath Cricket in the Natural/Hemp color is Vegan. The Cricket in Black is suede. If you are vegan buy the Hemp one.

The hemp look made me buy em but the sole and hemp get thrashed within 2 months of somewhat regualr skating...but i gotta say these are the comfiest shoe ive ever owned!
