Besides the bottoms wearing out after a couple months, best shoe ever. Better than vans and far more comfortable.
I have the cats in 9.5.. they fit good length wise but sloppy
I have the cats in 9.5.. they fit good length wise but sloppy (never tie them), but sence there is only size 9 on sale for the brown do you think they might be to small?

The Ipath Shearling will have a similar fit to the Cat. They are the same style just the shearling is taller (folds over) and is lined with fur. I would say go up a half size to a 10 (sold out in brown) if you must. You can try the 9 and send it back if you need to. You are always welcome to contact somebody in customer service and they can work that all out.

These shoes are awesome! I live in the mountains of Colorado and love how warm these shoes are without being gigantic snow boots. Walking to the bar through snow is no biggie, just flip up the tongue and trudge on. Chicks dig em too, I get lots of compliments. I will be buying another pair for sure.

The Ipath Shearling is kind of a winter style boot. I wouldn't bet on them being super water proof but they are extremely warm (fur). Since Dogfunk.com is a snowboard store we do carry winter product, and sometimes year round if we have some left from the previous season. I would tell your friend they are amazingly comfortable but suggested for cold conditions.

I would not skate these at all. for one, your feet would cook in these things and sweat like crazy. second, they're too nice to skate and all that wool would give you terrible board feel. These are chillin shoes.
We have a ton of other iPath skate shoes. I suggest going with any of those.

In a world of cats, this one is the alpha! I have been a long time rocker of Ipath shoes and The cats are by far my favorite. This boot is the definition of bossy......its much higher in the ankle than the normal cats, and the soft furry flaps fold up and have laces so you can turn this bad boy into an all out snow trompin' machine! These are some of the most comfortable shoes/boots I've ever worn, true to size, and oh so warm and fuzzy. You'll wanna sip hot cocoa in a log cabin the moment you put these on. Also, I would like to say the brown is slightly darker than the photo, but will not disappoint..... Oh and guys, here's the seller........women love cats, but they love a lion even more hahaha....These boots are eye catchers and compliment magnets...If you wanna feel like a rap star even though you live in the back of your car in the mountain parking lot, GET THEM! You will not regret.

I had a pair of these last winter for something to take the pressure off my feet after a long day of shreddin. The only time I had trouble with these is with the sides rolled down in powder. They are not waterproof but you'd be amazed by how much the leather repels the snow. If that is your only concern about these shoes, quit beating around the bush and buy a pair. These shoes are amazing!
