Backcountry trophy truck.
If you're looking to get into the backcountry to take mellow pow runs and carve lazy turns, this isn't what you want. However, if you use your split as dedicated equipment for accessing remote lines that require absolute focus and pinpoint precision, the Jones Carbon Solution is arguably the highest performance split you can strap to your feet. It takes everything that's made the regular Solution a legend, and makes it more aggressive. The carbon fiber construction sheds weight, while increasing the stiffness and damping, turning this into a turbocharged monster that devours the gnarliest lines you'll ever step to. Calling it high performance is a gross understatement.
The carbon fiber topsheet and carbon stringers keep the weight down, while providing a stiffer, damper, more responsive ride. The carbon fiber topsheet looks like it belongs in a race car, which would be a surprisingly accurate way to think of the Carbon Solution's handling. It's not designed to be forgiving-- instead, hold the throttle wide open and drive it like your life's on the line. Naturally, the weight reduction pays dividends on the skin track as well. Camber between the feet keeps the Solution planted at mach speed, and there's slightly more rocker in the nose than the tail, for unreal float, without sacrificing the ability to ride switch. Mellow Magne-Traction places bumps along the edge, for insane edgehold on windblown, exposed lines. The blunted nose keeps swing weight down for quicker turns. The sintered base holds a bunch of wax, and runs crazy fast. Karakoram clips are tasked with keeping the halves of the board together, and the cam function of the clips holds the halves together tighter than traditional passive hooks.

The future of splitboards
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
What if your splitboard rode like your regular setup? Just as light and just as badass. The Jones Carbon Solution is the future. Made for big mountain lines and critical terrain. FYI - experts only here, this board is a ferrari. The carbon construction is stiff and ultra responsive. Really like how it dampens chatter at high speeds and torsional rigidity is unmatched. When I'm in the backcountry it's about moving light and fast. Efficiency is the key word here. The carbon solution is my go to board for everything. Lightning quick missions to all day adventures.

Stock photo has no Karakoram clips, just holes for them. Does this board come with clips like other Jones boards?
It would come with the Karakoram clips.
The holes for the chinese clips (voile) and the Karakoram clips are the same. Jones boards 2013 and after will have the Karakoram clips.
I did just find out the new Karakoram clips are adjustable now though! like there 2014 clips.
Adjustable clips?? Please explain / post links
The new clips allow a slight adjustment, which is awesome for some boards that weren't cut perfect. Often its Mervin or Arbor boards that are off a bit. I put them on my old Voile that was just slightly worn out and they pull it together like new.
Mine came WITH the karakoram clips
