The legendary board that started it all for Jones, the Flagship Snowboard, is the result of Jeremy Jones' decades of experience riding the gnarliest terrain the earth has to offer. It has been tweaked and perfected over the years to create a board that's capable of bombing steeps, picking apart technical lines, and dropping huge cliffs.
Directional Rocker features camber underfoot for pop and power, with a slightly rockered tail and more rockered nose to give it a catch-free feel and improve float in powder. The Quadrax Carbon layup features multi-axis fiberglass with dual-zone carbon fiber power bands to create an extremely stiff and stable ride. A directional shape gives you more control and drive, and it also helps you stay afloat in the deep stuff. Mellow Magne-Traction improves edge hold by adding multiple contact points along the running length of the board, giving you insane grip on icy slopes.
Jones replaced traditional plastics in the topsheet with wood in order to dampen the ride for a a chatter-free feel, and decrease the use of toxic, unsustainable materials. Triple-density wood keeps the board light and snappy, and hardwood stringers along the edges substantially increase durability. Blunt tips reduce swing weight and allow the board to plane more smoothly in powder. It's finished off with a ultra-fast Sintered 9900 topsheet that's infused with OneBallJay BIO wax for long-lasting speed.

Hey DF...thinking about this board but need a size recommendation, please. I am 5'10", 170lbs, size 8 boot. ride powder, trees, jumps, steeps...all over and at times some back country stuff. I don't really care about speed and park, like to carve and have fun. Thoughts on size?
You can size down a little bit with these boards, I would say 158cm would be a pretty good fit for you.
Staple in the freeride world
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
If you like to charge the hill and maybe send some big cliffs then the Flagship has got your back. The ash wood top sheet provides superior dampening and a real consistent front to back flex. The carbon fiber in the nose keeps down vibrations and provides a lot of acceleration in and out of your turns. When it comes to riding trees and technical terrain Jones has things on lock. I downsized three two five cm on this board due to its amazing float. If your looking for a board you won't have to switch out or change your stance all winter this is it.
