All mountain freestyle.
We hear a lot about all-mountain freestyle boards, but the Jones Mountain Twin snowboard makes most of them look like glorified firewood. This directional twin has a setback stance and a directional flex that rivals most companies' freeride boards, with a freestyle-inspired shape that turns side hits and pillow lines into the best park features on the hill. If your idea of fun is bringing your jump line tricks to the rest of the mountain, the Mountain Twin is exactly what you want strapped to your feet.
Camber between the feet keeps the Mountain Twin planted at speed, and there's slightly more rocker in the nose than the tail, for mach speed stability, without sacrificing handling when riding switch. Mellow Magne-Traction places bumps along the edge, for secure edgehold, even on ice. The blunted nose keeps swing weight down for extra response and faster spins. Triax fiberglass works in conjunction with fiberglass stringers that radiate out from the bindings to the tip and tail for a super responsive ride. The sintered base holds a bunch of wax and runs crazy fast. The film topsheet not only saves weight, but it's more environmentally friendly than traditional constructions.

All mountain twin, baldy at snowbird
Rad all mountain free ride board
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have definitely put this board through the wringer. Its a great all mountain freestyle board, and although I don't really do any park I have had fun with this board on all sorts of natural features and in the backcountry. Its my go to board here in utah at snowbird, and have ridden it backcountry in bc, alaska, and argentina/chile. It does great in powder, and on groomers. I am 5 foot 6.5, 135 pounds (female, but go for the men's board as it is stiffer) and ride a 151.
freestyle/ freeride 1 board
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The Mnt Twin is a board that kills the hill and the park. The nose has a little more rocker giving it a directional feel in the deep stuff. When it comes to jumps and rails the profile is very forgiving. You can butter this thing for days. Made me wanna jib some stuff with that killer blunt nose.
