I need to know what kind of boot to where for the kind of riding

I need to know what kind of boot to where for the kind of riding I do.

I ride fast in the PacNW, so it tends to be slushy at times, unless it gets cold enough. I have a hand me down pair of vans and they are way to flexible. I also ride a very long board 172. I prefer cruzer hills, I avoid the trees, but I won't pass up powder for a groomer.

Could you advise me on the type of boot I'd like?

thanks

Agreed. sounds like you're doing mostly cruising groomers and charging a little pow. You'll definitely want a mid-stiff to stiff boot, it will be more responsive for your carves.

you'd probibly want a fairly stiff to mid stiff boot. probibly a 7ish on whatever company's 1-10 rating system. if you hit the park you might want a slightly softer boot

Boots are pretty stiff and painful at first, after a week of wearing them they got better! Now they are pretty comfy... My toes actually get pretty cold in these boots compared to others i have had! (northwaves) But BOA is where it's at! Solid boots, for the price.
