K2 Snowboards Lifelike Snowboard - Wide - 2011

K2's Lifelike Wide Snowboard packs a ton of value into a super-versatile ride for well-rounded shredders with big boots. The Flatline shape and moderate flex inspire confidence everywhere on the mountain, from low-speed mini-shred laps to top-secret tree stashes.

  • Flatline zero-camber shape balances a catch-free, floaty feel with reliable edge control and ollie power
  • Carbon Web I extends carbon strips outward from the bindings to the edges, tip, and tail for added snap and torsional control
  • Triax fiberglass with integrated ICG 10 carbon increases longitudinal snap and edge grip
  • Hyper Progressive sidecut blends multiple radii for a mellow feel in the tip/tail, and a more aggressive feel between your feet for powerful turns
  • 4000 Sintered base resists damage and holds a ton of wax to keep you cruising through the flats

Bottom Line: Step up your game this season without going broke.

So Darkstar its Lifelike

By:
October 4, 2011

As technology progresses the boards will follow.

New this year, the Lifelike replaces the Darkstar of previous years, but with some added twist. 100% Flatline profile, and carbon web focused underfoot gives every rider an amazing edge hold and snap all over the mountain. What twists the Lifelike away from the Darkstar is a 3/4 of an inch setback stance, and Hybrilight sidewall technology previously reserved for the high priced boards like the Slayblade and Gyrator. Hybrilight gives an amazing mix between the added torsional stiffness of cap construction, and the durability and dampening of your common sidewall constructions found across the industry.

All n all this is an amazing snowboard for the guy who is progressing or even advancing his abilities all over the mountain and likes to explore the backside of the resort more then the park.

Just got my Lifelike! K2 sent me this board on warranty in place of the retired Darkstar. I can't wait to ride it! I'll write a review as soon as the season starts
