my son is extremely tall for his age. He turns 3 in January and weight about 33 pounds. is a 90cm or 100cm best?
Both will be big for his weight, so I would size down to the 90cm.
Catch Free Rocker
Winner of the needlessly deceptive feature name goes to K2 with the Catch Free Rocker, which really means the board is 90% flat camber... but raises (or rockers) just the nose and tail contact points. Which when compared to any regular camber board, the contact points are debatably different on a completely flat table surface... let alone on a snow covered hill.
If I hadn't looked at this in a store and realized it was actually flat, I wouldn't have bought it. Actually, I wouldn't have even considered it because I didn't want to buy my son a rocker. Imo rockers don't teach good board fundamentals as well as a regular camber, or even a flat (like this board).
K2 - turn off the political news and skip the marketing spin. We get 'rocker' sells, but so do other things.
