Description

Oh, the places you'll shred.

In the name of light weight and mobility, K2 dropped the wheels from its wheeled board bag to create the Padded Board Bag. The Padded Board Bag is for the traveler who is less concerned about easy cruising comfort and thinking more about getting quickly from one place to another. If you're going to be carrying the bag more often than rolling it, why carry wheels, too?

  • Well-balanced for easy transport
  • Double hoisting handles for easy lifting
  • Tough YKK zippers throughout
  • Large external pocket for organization

I am buying this bag for my son, his board is 156 cm, should I get the 158 cm or 168cm for added storage

Hi Kristi-

How old is your son? Will his board size be larger next year? A good snowboard bag can last for years so it may be wise to size up if there any questions. Also, It is common for snowboarders to take multiple boards on trips and the extra space can come in handy.

That said, from personal experience, I would suggest you look at the more structured bags from Burton and Dakine. The Dakine Tour bag for example is close to the same price but offers better board protection, extra storage and a firmer more structured bag is easier to manage than a soft bag while traveling.
