Deep-day soul surfer.
Looking to surf-slash the deepest snow, bomb pow-choked gullies, and weave through fresh, fluffy glades? Hop on the K2 Peace Keeper Snowboard for dialed powder performance on the deepest days of the year. This pow-seeking performer features a directional shape with K2's BC Shaping for insane float in the deep stuff. BC Shaping gives you a longer tip blend and a delayed sidecut initiation to prevent over-steering that's often the result of a board's traditional, hard-snow based geometry. As if that's not enough, the designers at K2 loaded this board with a BC Rocker with Tweekends for even better floatation. This profile is flat underfoot for a stable feel with plenty of edge hold when you're straight-lining chutes and riding over variable snow conditions. However, make no mistake, the Peacekeeper's gigantic rockered nose and slightly less rockered tail (what K2 calls Tweekends) make for truly effortless float atop the deepest snow.
Inside this powder specialist, you'll find a nearly indestructible Bambooyah Blend WH4 core that's backed by K2's two-year warranty against breakage. This super-tough, ultra-light core features horizontal bamboo laminates for tons of snap. Honeykomb strips through the board's center drastically reduce weight without sacrificing durability, while Carbon Web II stringers and an Ollie bar deliver pre-loaded pop off powder pillows and natural hits. Furthermore, you'll find K2's fastest Ø sintered base offers lightning-quick performance that won't bog down in deep snow or long, flat run-outs at the bottom of the mountain.

Looks great for pow surfin'.
I was wondering what the weight of this board is? I have heard that K2 has been producing some heavy boards lately. I am torn between this one and the Ride Highlife UL. If anyone has any information on the weights of these boards it would be greatly appreciated.
We have the shipping weight listed at 6.9 lbs for this board. Actual weight should be slightly less than that. It seems pretty average in terms of weight. Unfortunately, snowboard companies rarely list weights for any of their products.
