K2 Snowboards Raygun Snowboard - Wide - 2012

You know what they say about riders with big feet? Well, results may vary depending on who you ask, but if you're asking the K2 Raygun Wide Snowboard, it will spill all the juicy details on how it puts out high-performance freestyle fun for any big-footed fella willing to take for a spin anywhere on the mountain. From jibbing and jumping in the park, to dragging knuckles through pow, to ripping up the corduroy, the Raygun is sure to blow your mind.

  • All-Terrain rocker features a setback stance, medium rise through the tip, and a lower rise in the tail to ensure effortless turns on hardpack and plenty of float in deep powder or chundery crud
  • ICG triax fiberglass overlaps three layers of glass with integrated carbon for a ride that's not only snappy and responsive but that also releases the energy smoothly
  • Hybritaper gradually thins out the core of the board towards the nose and tail to reduce swing weight
  • 2000 extruded base resists blows from rails, rocks, and stumps and is easy (and inexpensive) to maintain and make repairs

Bottom Line: Hot all-mountain action will ensue.

Great step up from rentals

I bought this board for a trip over Christmas and can't be more pleased with it. I'm really digging the rocker-flat-rocker design since I still haven't really figured out what ride style is right for me. It came pretty well waxed out of the wrapper so it was a bit faster than what I was used to, which isn't bad. I felt pretty confident with my turns and I started tackling some small jibs.

If you're graduating from rentals but don't want to drop a huge amount of money on a board, I highly recommend trying the Raygun. For $360, it's a pretty damn good board.
