Nice boot, but just not for me

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are good boots, but they are just a little too tight for me over the ankles. I'm going to return them and get something with traditional laces so that I can dial in the right fit. Hopefully, that will do the trick.

Otherwise, the BOA system and Conda liner lacing are nice features. Similar to parp591459, I found that the stitching around the laces started to come apart. I only wore the boots one day on the mountain.

Comfort all day long

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These boots performed very well on the snow. The boots are well suited for the flow bindings system. The only 2 issues i had with this boot is the ankle harness lace comes loose sometimes from the tie spot on the boot. also the stitching on the front of the sole came undone within 2 days of use (a dab of superglue will fix that). But overall these boots were most comfy boots i've used so far. Great fit and and easy to walk around and snowboard with.

If asked would I recommend this to others? Yes, I would.

The blend of tech and price friendly

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

this is a great boot for you entry to mid-level rider, or even your high performance rider looking for a soft flexing boot.

As always K2 crams bang for your buck into this piece. Still giving you Intuition heat moldable foam, BOA external lacing system, and Harshmellow dampening, that you look for from their products. To bring this boot down to a price conscious level they have switched their BOA internal system for a similar pull lace system called Conda.
Conda is a simple system of up down pullyes which, which gives you the same great intyergrated ankel hold system as BOA but in a price friendly form.
