When you're headed to the backcountry's backcountry.
One thing you don't want to do while climbing mountains is run out of drinkable water, which is why the Tatoosh has an insulated hydration sleeve to keep your precious fluids from freezing up on you. It also has snowboard straps to carry your board vertically, and shovel blade, shovel handle, and probe pockets to keep your avy gear close at hand. A molded back panel provides a custom fit for maximum comfort, and a hip belt and sternum strap help distribute the load. The hip belt also has a camera pocket so you don't miss the shot, a lined goggle pocket keeps your lenses from getting scratched, and Duraflex buckles withstand harsh conditions so your gear doesn't fail you when you need it the most.

Best pack I've had in a While
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I love this pack. It's large enough to fit everything you need for any serious back-country trip; but yet fits like a glove high atop my back which allows it to feel light and great. I really like the way it's made and all the compartments. From ripping through the Trees to getting vertical in the Chute. This pack is great, and it's park friendly.
