K2 T1 Snowboard Boot - Men's - 2006
The K2 T1 Snowboard Boot is where technology and tradition meet to take charge of the mountain. The K2 Access Harness inside this boot provides instantaneously dialed comfort. Use its Boa lace to tighten or loosen this harness around the liner for customized ankle support and heel hold. The liner's lightweight padding forms to your foot with each wearing. On the outer boot, K2 uses its new Fast-In 2-Zone lacing system for your choice of tightness across the instep and on the top of the boot. Adjust these laces on the fly with their easy-to-use handles and lace locks. These two lacing systems combine to give you a personalized fit. This boot's 3D tongue has a stiffener that can be removed for park riding or left in for shredding the steep and deep. The awesome Vibram Ultra-Light soles are so light and awesome because K2 removed excess rubber but maintained maximum traction.

This is by far the best lacing concept on the market, not only do you get the best ankle hold possible, you have the versatility of a soft or stiff boot. With the comfort and fit of the new heat moldable liner, in combo with the access system using boa to lace the liner, you can adjust the flex of the boot by tightening or releasing the boa on the fly, from the outside of your boot. When you get to the bottom of the run loosen it and ride the chair in comfort. Get to the top reach down tighten the boot to your desired flex and off you go. These also have an optional zonal lacing system that works really easy also, so you can really dial this boot in to fit just the way you need it to. Add a great traction sole and your ready to hike the back bowls or that rail all day long. This is the way boots should be made, it could almost be the boot for all.
