I would say its quite a bit softer. Seeing as this is a reverse cambered board it will flex differently. But yes, the K2 WWW Rocker is softer than the DOM. BUT if you purchased the DOM then that means you got the EST bindings from Burton, right? If so, those will not be compatable on the WWW. But all you have to do is get a set of 'Retro Disks' and it will attach to any usual 8 holed board. Hope this helps bro

and how wide and ducked your stance is, the wider and more ducked, the bigger boots you can run on a skinny deck, but dont change your stance for a board, change the board for your stance

Well size 11 is usually the cut off for a reg width deck, but sometimes you can squeeze a 12. Usually if the width is greater than 255mm, then you should be alright. But personally I ride wide decks because of my size 12'ers, and I ride mainly park and groomers. I just find its more stable for myself. But its really depending on waist width and what size of binding ur rockin

I would def go for a wide deck if you have size 12 boots. Im guessing that you use a L/XL binding? The majority of the time an 11 is pushing it for a reg width deck. But I would def go for a wide deck for the size of your feet. I ride a Rome Machine 154w and have size 12 feet aswell, and i hang just a tad. And the waist on my Machine is 258mm

Put it like this.... If your foot is over size 11, you will be cutting it maaaaad close. I ride a Rome Machine 154w with size 12 boots and im hanging over just a touch. Also my Machine has a waiste width of 26cm. 1cm doesnt seem like much, but aslong as your feet are pretty duck then you will be alright. But I would def go for a wide deck if you have size 12 feet

You're definitely cutting it close to getting the wide version of most boards. However, the 155 cm in this board has a 25.20 waist width. If K2 wanted, they could easily call this a mid wide. The 152 has a 24.90 waist, in that was the length you wanted, I'd go with the 153 wide @ 26.10 waist. confused yet?

If you have a boot with a reduced footprint, you can also get the non-wide version. Now if you were size 11.5 or 12, I'd say definitely get the wide. Hope this helps.

Not a Hole lot the rocker is going to be better in the park but its not going to be the best for carving tho it will be ok in pow because the rocker will rise up over the snow a little better then the traditional camber board. The Rocker is also a little stiffer then the traditional camber board but it is still a noodle because the rocker makes up for it and also when ur actually doing a press it will be softer because the board is already pre-shaped for pressing. Yeah man just like Justin said go for the 152, ALTEAST. Im basically the same height and weight as you and I ride a 154 in the park. But yes the board is suuuper fun in the park and has good pop. Will not be the best on hard pack or on hits over 40', but on jibbs and lickle features it will be prime

I would personally go for the 152. I think you'd find a 148 a little sketchy for riding on the hill (even just messing around).

based off your weight and riding style, I think you would be happy with the 145. Maybe consider the 148 for more all-mountain style or if you find yourself hitting bigger jumps a lot, this extra length will give you some stability. For rails and moderate sized jumps, go with the 45.

depends on how flexy you want your board to be the www is twice as flexy as the artifact but the 1985 artifact is twice as flexy as the www other 1985 series aren't as flexy as the 1985 artifact but still just as flexy or more flexy than the www and it also depends on what kind of rocker you want the 1985 series has like 3 diffirent kinds of rockers where as the www comes in cambered and jib rockered. im sold on k2 but i also like huckin off of 50 footers a little more than a 270 on a battle ship. hope that helps ya

I would go with the Rome artifact 1985, its a sweet jibstick, for size you may want to look at something around 148-149 but being a jibstick you could even go a little shorter

you prolly could have gotten away with it at your weight.. but since your 6" 2" you shouldnt have any issue whippin around a 156, if it was a heavier board maybe but there so light that it shouldnt make a difference

The reason they say you can size this board down 5cm is the way they constructed the tip and tail. By bringing them lower to the ground and the curve (from snow to air) steeper they kept the same sidecut and effective edge as a longer board.

yeah its pretty dang soft. you can still pop but if you want a little more pop look at the parkstar. its kinda soft but has carbon bars in the tip/tail for some pop. jibpans way stiffer.

I don't about the Ride Machete but it is softer than both the parkstar and the jibpan rocker. The parkstar is just a little stiffer but the jibpan is much stiffer than the www rocker.

fuck the darkstar you gotta get rocka bro get the parkstar fo shizzzz its still soft but with added carbon stringers in the tips for added strength and pop pretty much the darkstar is for jumping wat the www is for jibbing and the fact that its got rocke means when you do feel like going for a jib your still gonna be able to press that basd boy.
maybe also look at the ride DH2 and the rome posteria 1985

if you're looking for an all around super fun park board get the ride machete. It's super beast at jibbing and still solid enough to handle booters

no noodly board is going to be great for pow. this is the noodliest of the noodles, but if you want something to tear up the park and the mountain and want reverse camber look at the parkstar

hey dirtbiker. 1 of the benefits of ROCKER shaping it does lossen up the board feel/dynamic. however, to compensate for this, K2 developed JIP TIP TECH, which elongates the effective edge 5cm compared to boards of the same length. you can either down size 5cm for super short/jib, or ride your regular length which gives you an extra 5cm effect edge for control. if you are riding super hard snow, at 40 mph, i might suggest the new Parkstar; same Jib rocker but a performance jump up w/ core/carbon/base...
