L1 Slim Chino Pant - Men's - 2012

The L1 Slim Chino Pant possesses technical, mountain-worthy features but has a style that veers in the same direction as the casual slim-fits you wear every day. Exposed and contrasting zippers, L1-branded trim, and classic muted colors make this a no-brainer for any shredder on the hunt for a pant with a modern, clean style.

  • Stretch outer shell with 8K-rated waterproof/breathable membrane for reliable weather protection
  • Slim fit is tailored but not skin-tight, with articulation to allow full freedom of movement
  • Zippered hems expand to fit over your boots
  • Shoelace belt and denim-style L1 logo trims
  • Jacket-to-pant interface attaches to your L1 jacket to hold your pow skirt in place and block intruding snow

Bottom Line: A street-style look that's dialed for the hill.

Not sure what size would fit me. Im 6' and around 155. Looking at S or M, dont want them to long in the legs so there will be alot of fabric around the knees and boots.
I want them tight but not thunder tight. Had a pair of thunders in M last year and they were tight.
Also they have to go in size with my L1 vet jacket in M.

Thanks for the help.

I'm 6 feet tall with a 31 waist, and I have these pants in large. They're just a little loose in the waist and quite slim (see my pics). If you want em really tight you might be able to get away with with medium, definitely not small. Really I suggest a size large if you want to be comfortable and have good range of motion.

I'm about 6' 180 and the Large fit like a charm. Nice and slim but not painted on. Material is super solid and looks great as well. Worth every penny.

What does anyone think or what has someone else ordered?
I am 150 5'7", 30 to 31 inch waist, do I go small or medium, I have thunders in Mediums, they are just loving my goods a little too much.

The L1 Slim Chino is a bit looser than the skinny fit Thunders. But overall, they're still fairly slim and sized on the small side. Sizing down to a small Slim Chino will probably just give you the same fit as your medium Thunders. If you want your pants to get off your goods, stay with size medium.

Best fitting pants I've ever had. Nitro knows whats up.

I'm really picky when it comes to snowpants (wish I wasn't but whatever) and it was love the first time I tried them on. If you want a slim fitting pant that isn't ridiculously tight and gets over your boot like a mid fit pants this is your pant. The knee fits really well and the bootleg gets really wide so your boot has room and then some. I wear a 30x30 pant and got a medium.

Compared to the skinny, premium skinny, thunder, slim chino, and Americana....which pants have the skinny/flared look? I love the bellbottom look....but I hate when pants are too short. Which do you suggest have the most bellbottom look to them but are really baggy at the bottom so that they hang over the boot and touch the ground.

The warmth level on these pants will be closer to the Airblasters than the Holdens. The fabric is fairly thick.

hell yeah. Ricky Ross approved.

If Rick Ross the Boss is rocking these pants on the mountain, you KNOW they got street cred.

The L1 Slim Chinos are rad. The fit is great, I'm 6 feet tall, 150 lbs and wear size 32 pants. I got these in size large and they fit just a liiiiittle bit loose. Which is good, because these things are slim. I didn't try on the mediums, but I imagine they would be too constricting in the waist/junk area. As far as features go, they're mostly good and some bad.

PROS: The cut/fit is perfect and the material is BANGIN! It feels rich and looks even better. No cheap looking poly here. I like the shoelace belt, six pockets (4 front and two rear), exposed metal zips, and denim-style rear pockets. They have boot gaiters and ghetto slits to bang your pants out.

CONS: no leg vents?!?! What's up with that. The two hand warmer pockets don't have zippers. not a huge deal as I've ridden in pants without pocket zips before, but for $200 I would have hoped for these two features.

So there ya go. Great looking and awesome materials, but a little light on the tech.

Hey Damon, the waist of these pants is sized small so I suggest going up to the large to get the length you need.

The waist won't be a big deal. I'm 6 feet tall with a 32 waist and I wear the larges. I've got to use the included shoelace belt to keep em up, but just barely. Plus, they'll be long enough for your 34" inseam.
