A truly enchanting all-mountain freestyle ride.
- Numerically-enhanced Banana Tech uses Lib's highest rocker between the feet and blended camber zones at the contact points for a super-floaty yet stable feel
- Horsepower construction uses basalt fibers instead of fiberglass—it's lighter, poppier, damper, and uses fewer toxins during manufacturing
- Mega-light Columbian Gold core uses sustainably-farmed, snowboard-specific wood
- Enhanced Magne-Traction serrated edges provide reliable edge control and powerful turns, even on ice
- Glow-in-the-dark sidewalls won't help you ride better, but they sure are fancy
- Bioplastic bean-based topsheet is tough and good for the environment

Magic In Vail
Got this board in a 154 and it floats like a 164 the camber profile rocks and lib tech always rocks with the graphics
Board is amazing
The banana magic is my first experience with BTX, horsepower, and magna traction...what a great experience. My first ride was at Whistler in December. I remember taking my first ride down the mountain with astonishment on the board's responsiveness. It handles great on packed powder, ice, booters, half pipe, and rails. My few experiences with excess power was okay, but my wide stance has an effect on riding powder. Overall, I would totally recommend this board to anyone I know; it is worth every single penny.
Best board ever made!!!
This board is a beast!!! This board slays everything. Unbelievable edge hold, turns on a dime, and easy carves. It's a lot of fun
Turns a crap day into a fun day
after riding this in multiple conditions this season, from crap ice, to epic pow days, i conlude that this board is at its best on the crap snow days, it just makes bombing icy runs, and sticking that icy landing, and busting through crud so much easier. It is lighting edge to edge and makes awesoem shor fast carves, if you are flatlining you have to pay attention becasue it naturally wants to get on edge. the Magnetraction and low radius sidecuts make for railed turns despite the high rocker. In pow its not the best, you just ahve to lean back and get the nose to plane and it does fine, ill pull out my pow board when theres any fresh snow and switch back to this when it gets tracked out.
Just took this beast out for the first time at Snowbird. Conditions were variable, mostly dust on crust and this board still slayed it. Although this board has a more pronounced rocker, it's aggressive sidecut and deeper MTX more than makes up for it when it comes to gripping the hard stuff. Coverage was still poor so I haven't really pushed it off the groomers but I CANNOT wait. Another win for Mervin, woot woot!
I'm 6' and 187lbs, wear a size 11.5 boot and went with a 158wide. Paired with Ride Phytop boots and Flux Pat Milbery binders.
Talked with a Gearhead about it-heard it was the best around! Stoked to try it out this weekend!
Feel the Magic!
I upgraded from my 2011 Skate Banana to the 2012 Banana Magic for this season. Unbelievable edge hold and very light with great pop! I'm 5'6" and about 160lbs with full gear so the 152 was perfect for me. The flex was pretty stiff out of the bag (6 out 10 on Libtech's scale) but after riding it a few times I would say it's just perfect. I can actually butter better with my magic. Currently paired with 2012 Burton Prophecy bindings this board rides like a dream everywhere I have taken it. Quite spendy but definitely worth every penny to me.
Such a fun combo of softness and pop! Great board for those playful days on the mountain!

Hi, I'm 5.7 143 pound and I spend most of my time in park but whenever I can I love spend my time in pow. Is 152 a good compromise between park and pow or is too short? Now I'm riding a skate banana 152...in park it's the best but in pow it's not the best! will for banana magic the same thing? And for the attack banana? Heeelp!!!(Sorry for my english;-))
i'm 5'9 and 140 pounds. i used the 152 last year and it was PERFECT. your gonna get the perfect combination of everything with it.
