Lib Technologies Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard - 2009

Don't just scratch the surface—jump on the Lib Technologies Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard and get rough. Designed by Lib rider and Think Thank founder Jesse Burtner, this all-mountain jib stick does it all. Lib gave the Box Scratcher wide stance options for full-time jibbers, and Magne-Traction and Banana Tech for improved control, board feel, and good old-fashioned fun. Whether you're dipping into the park to bonk some boxes and logs, or surfing a fresh layer of pow, the Lib Technologies Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard goes deeper than just a tickle.

  • Correct Sandwich construction equals low spin weight so you can jib harder
  • Banana Tech improves control between your feet and adds more float in the pow
  • Magne-Traction improves edge hold and board feel
  • Double Sintered UHMW Sidewalls are tough as nails to handle rails, bonks, slides, and serious jibbing
  • Morning Wood Core uses stiff wood construction for maximum pop
  • Power Transfer Sidewalls give you more pop for your buck

Bottom Line: The Lib Technologies Burtner's Box Scratcher Snowboard really tickles our junk.

I feel your pain, I live in the same area. I plan to buy one of these two models next year. Either way your not losing, Lib-tech is great. i ride an old Youth in Asia and i love the thing.

I had the 08 box scratcher and fell in love with it the moment it connected with the snow. Although I broke it(pretty sure it was mostly my fault), I never thought about buying anything BUT the box scratcher. I went for this one because it's slightly larger than the 145 I was riding. Being 6'1 and 185, size 12 boot, I fit comfortably on this board. Banana tech spins like nothing else. I'm stoked to see what i can do on this 151.

Well like it says on the website, this board is made for full grown jibbers with full size feet. I'm currently riding this 151 box scratcher and it's amazing. I'm in love with this board.

uhhhhhhhh probably was your fault considering you should be on a board atleast 13 cm's bigger than what you were on. 185 lbs on a 145?

Hey, haven't owned this board but I just want to let you know you could get away with just riding it at de-tuning will happen naturally. If you're worried about rails, the rocker design in this keeps the contact points out of the way when you don't need them. If you did want to de-tune. it's easy, just take a file to your contact points. ˙punoɹɐ ʇou s,ɐɯpuɐɹƃ ǝɹns ǝʞɐɯ os pnoן os s,ʇı

I rode the 08 box scratcher, which was a 145, and stomped landings on huge kickers with ease, and i'm 6'1 - 185lbs. The banana tech and magne-traction is almost unreal. never slide out, great through powder and even bomb hills faster than those dudes riding 162cm's! Best board ever!
