Scratch outside the box.

A zombie apocalypse is nigh, so grab the Lib Tech Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard and head to the hills to seek refuge and have some good times as well. Hungry for freestyle fun, the Box Scratcher uses its twin geometry and wider waist width for stomping park and street features alike. We recommend you head out without a buddy, though, because undead brain-eaters could be lurking around every corner. In which case, the serrated Magnetraction edge might come in handy for lopping off some heads.

  • Banana Tech BTX features a rockered platform between the feet, a flat section under the inserts, and a mild camber toward the ends; the result is freestyle-centric pressure between the feet and a catch-free feeling at the furthest contact points
  • Magnetraction edges steer through ice like a phantom ghost ship navigating the frozen arctic waters
  • Wider waist width complements the soft flex, Banana profile, and allows you to ride a smaller size without sacrificing stability
  • Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls reinforce the sidewalls with an internal 90-degree wall built to resist and absorb impacts that could damage sidewalls, edges, and core
  • Morning Wood core presents a freestyle-friendly flex with an even feel throughout which accessorizes well with the board's twin geometry
  • Jesse Burtner signature series snowboard
  • Different sizes feature your own most-dreaded brain-eaters out there: 143/Video Game Zombie, 147/Jock Zombie, 151/Business Man Zombie, 154/Motorcycle Cop Zombie, and 157/Carnie Zombie

Butterlicious all-terrain banana

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Such an awesome all-around board! Definitely on the softer side of things, but it shouldn't be an issue if you ride this deck in your normal size or slightly larger. I'm 5' 7" and around a buck fifty; I'm riding a 154, to put things in perspective.

Rode this board approximately 50-60 times last year, throughout the Midwest- mainly riding park, groomers, and icy terrain. Got a chance to ride some powder up at Mt. Bohemia.

Definitely held up to some serious abuse, although the TNT base is soft, so take caution when cruising through rocky areas off-piste. Floats powder incredibly, holds a great edge (when sharp), jibs amazingly, and handles speed surprisingly well. Pop is bananas! Seriously, I can ollie over slow signs with no problem. Only downside is the super soft tip & tail; bumps and choppy snow tend to throw this thing off and fold the nose/tail into the snow(in deep heavy/variable chopped snow). Small price to pay for the fun that you can have with this deck.

I see its good for boxes and buttery stuff, but can it handle 50 foot jumps? I have a Rome that is super buttery and seems like it just has too much flex to handle landings of jumps. Im nervous to buy another board that would cause the same problem. Any ideas?

It depends on the size you're shooting for... A bigger board will be stable on bigger jumps with this guy. Just remember that this board is totally reverse camber, so when hitting jumps of that size you really have to land square on both feet, or you're gonna wash out. I wouldn't take this off anything bigger than a 50 footer, and in all honesty, I would probably look into a different board for jumps. Consider the T.Rice, Attack Banana, or TRS boards, and if you're set on reverse, check out the Banana Magic as well.

This guy needs to give more info on what the board features, and maybe get someone that shreds the park. Newbie
