Lando's weapon of choice.
If you've ever heard of this little snowboard film called 'The Art of Flight', then you're probably already familiar with Mark Landvik's brand of balls-to-the-wall backcountry freestyle riding. Lando's Lib Tech Phoenix Series C2-BTX Snowboard gives him the pop, float, and precision control he needs to take apart next-level lines everywhere from AK to Patagonia.
C2 BTX Power Banana technology features
rocker between the bindings for a floaty and forgiving ride in powder,
with camber zones extending from the bindings to the tip and tail to
give it a more aggressive feel that provides edge hold on hard pack and
pop off of jumps. The ultra-fast and extremely durable TNT base is designed to reduce friction so you can fly down the mountain at Mach speeds, and a directional twin shape and set-back stance gives you
more power and control when you're shredding, but still allows you to
ride away switch so you can stomp those big back 180s into fluffy
- Rocker between bindings, camber towards ends
- Basalt/fiberglass combo lay-up
- Magne-Traction .5 edge technology
- H-Pop wood core
- Directional twin shape
- TNT base
- Bio Bean topsheet

I'm 6'5, size 12 shoe getting a L/XL contact binding and weigh 170. would the 160cm standard do for me? or should I consider getting a wide board?
With a size 12 boot you are pretty much always going to need a wide board or a board right around 260 mm at the waist. That being said our tech specs on the width of this board are at the moment incorrect and I will get it filled to correct that. In the mean time the width of this board are here at the bottom of my comment. As far as the size, the 160 might work well for you as an all mountain board but I feel like it might be a couple centimeters short if you are planning on using this as an all mountain board or in deep snow. If you are going to be more park and groomers then I think you could definitely get away with a 160.
