Lib Technologies Mark Landvik Phoenix C2-BTX Snowboard - 2012

If you've ever heard of this little indie snowboard film called 'The Art of Flight', you're probably already familiar with Mark Landvik's brand of balls-to-the-wall backcountry freestyle riding. Lando's Lib Tech Phoenix Series C2-BTX Snowboard gives him the pop, float, and precision control he needs to take apart next-level lines everywhere from AK to Patagonia.

  • C2 hybrid-camber profile uses fun, loose rocker between your feet with stable, responsive camber from the bindings to the tips for a poppy, reactive ride
  • Magne-Traction serrated edges add contact points to improve edge hold in firm snow
  • 3D Bamboo Org Throttle risers for increased leverage and more powerful turns
  • Fiberglass/basalt fiber blend improves dampening and pop while reducing environmental impact
  • Medium-stiff flex for a responsive ride that still feels floaty and forgiving
  • Eco-friendly bio-plastic topsheet made from castor beans

Bottom Line: We officially request Mark change his nickname to Lando Pow-ripsian.

Graphics are insane

Board turned out to look even better then i expected it to. The colors are very vibrant and eye catching, love em. Only trouble is after my second day of riding the top layer of the board has started peeling off. Meaning a huge chunk of the graphics are starting to go with it! ouch

The board rips

By:
November 27, 2012

Have been riding for 20 years and always had traditional camber boards. I started the morning off with my old board that had just been tuned and it felt good. The hill was hard icy and steep but for the 1st ride of the season felt pretty good. Took a few runs and then switched over to the Lando. This board rips felt good right of the bat, held on the ice better then anything I have ever ridden was extremely stable at speed and it has a ton of pop. It is very stiff so will have to see how that feels in the pow. Had a great 1st day and thinking going to have many more with this board and for once I got a board that rips and I like the graphics.
