Still on top after all these years.
The Lib Tech Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard is hasn't changed much since it flipped the industry on its head a few years ago, and that's a good thing. OG Banana Tech rocker makes it easy for anyone to ride, from average Joe's to top pros, and Magne-Traction edges provide insane grip on icy slopes. It's already won about a million awards for being awesome, plus it's built by some of the most Eco-conscious board builders anywhere. So whether you spend your days in icy parks or powdery trees, the Skate Banana will make sure you're having fun while you're there.
The Skate Banana is built on Lib's BTX rocker profile, which features rocker between the bindings, while the tip and tail have the slightest bit of camber to maintain pop and stability. The result is a loose, catch free ride that gives you enough pressure at the ends to charge hard. It gets better with Magne-Traction edges, which place seven strategic bumps along the edges. The bumps are bigger between the feet, which concentrates most of the grip there for a ride feeling that's more like a skateboard and less like standing on some old timer's skis. Plus it's a true twin for unrestricted switch shredding.
The Colombian Gold and Power A core uses fast growing, sustainably harvested wood for a board that's light, and snappy. Power Transfer internal sidewalls crank up the durability, and they're buffered by UHMW external sidewalls for impact resistance. The TNT base is easy to repair when you ding it up on rocks and rails. Best of all, you can rest easy knowing that your snowboard was built with eco-friendly materials by snowboarders with jobs.
