Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard - 2008

I had over 12 years of boarding under my belt when i desided to get the Skate tech... and in all that time i never broken a bone. This board had such pop! it was awesome... i can't see why i would get a different board. The only problem i have with the board is how many people have it now... its like the live strong yellow bands... it just a phase...

There are always "advancements" in riding gear each year. Usually these things (baseless bindings for example) are just fads and soon go away. This is not the case with Magne-Traction or reverse camber. Anyone whose been on a Magne-Traction board knows theres no going back and now reverse camber just ups the ante. The banana is the most natural and responsive board i've ever ridden. Its got crazy pop, awesome pressing flex, kills it in the park, and backcountry pow. All you have to do is look at the industry and see the other companies trying to catch up. Rossi Bataleon K2 and Salomon are all adopting either reverse camber or their own version of Magne-Traction. Welcome to the future....

dont listen to that bs about the tips this year they are reinforced and good to go. i cannot put into words how amazing this board is. It is very rare that such a product comes along and actually makes you a better rider. i can hang butters longer manuals are as easy as lifting up my foot pop is incredible and you do not catch edges on this thing is AMAZING!!! a 100% must buy my cap is off to you lib tech

Good luck to all the competition out there to make something as innovative as this that actually works as good as the Banana rocker! Here's the thing.... The Banana is kind of a basic construction, so if you're a killer shredder, it may be worth it to you to spend a couple extra bucks on another board with the banana rocker like the TRS, or Phoenix.
It will ride as good or better and it will hold up better under all the stress a talented rider will subject their board to.

The Lib Tech Skate Banana is the best snowboard I have ever ridden. I will never go back to regular camber or any fake banana "rocker" boards. the LIB banana is the only way to go- any condition, any terrain, it made me a better snowboarder. mervin for life!

this is the sickest bord ever at 1st wen u get it out of the box it feels kinda stiff and really heavy(not old never smmer) but wen u ride it, holy shit son, it is so soft and buttery easy to do anything with and the swing wieght is non i got a 5 for ma 1st spin..... please do urself a favor and buy it!

I rode this board 5 times this season 08/09 already and let me tell you each time I ride this board my riding gets fresher & fresher. This board really does it all from butters, manuals, nice pop & the magne-traction really does work dope board for real......I do have to admit that this board does take a day or two to get used to if you never rode a reversed cambered board but after you get use to it the board is just straight BANANAS FUNNIEST BOARD I EVER RODE IN 10 YEARS OF SNOWBOARDING

This board is sick!!!!!!! When I got this board, my skills increased a lot. This board has like very good handling and it is a lot of fun to ride. If you are going to get a new board, you should get this one because it is AWESOME TO THE MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a good time on my Banana, the only problem that I encountered is that mine started to peel at the tips.
