Made for the Stash-quatch.
Unlike those scrawny kids in tight pants down at the terrain park, you're a real man with big feet, so why should you be denied the right to tear up the mountain with some of the most advanced technology in snowboarding just because your dogs are bigger than the average rider's? Luckily the folks at Lib Tech haven't forgotten about you—the Skunk Ape C2-BTX HP Wide Snowboard is built specially just for the big guy who shreds hard on everything from open powder fields to icy steeps, and everything in between.
C2 BTX Power Banana technology features rocker between the bindings for a floaty and forgiving ride in powder, with camber zones extending from the bindings to the tip and tail to give it a more aggressive feel that provides edge hold on hard pack and pop off of jumps. A directional twin shape and set-back stance gives you more power and control when you're shredding the deep stuff, but still allows you to ride away switch so you can stomp those big back 180s into fluffy landings. Magne-Traction edges are serrated to slice through ice likes
it's fresh corduroy, so you can carve down bulletproof slopes with ease while everyone else is sliding out on their asses.
You can also ride a little easier knowing that this board was made using Horsepower (HP) Construction, Lib-Tech's experiMental division's favorite high-perfomrnace combination of lightweight, strong, environmentally friendly materials. Basalt volcanic glass replaces fiberglass to reduce the amount of toxins created in the manufacturing process without sacrificing strength or response, the Bio Bean topsheet is made from castor beans instead of petroleum-based plastics, and the lightweight and strong Columbian Gold wood core comes from fast-growing, sustainably harvested trees so you're not contributing to the destruction of the rainforests.

Awesome! I feel like a Skunk Ape
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have used both the HP and regular versions and they are both incredible. You can not go wrong with either one. I just wanted to save a little weight with this version and it is noticeable lighter. I was riding the Travis Rice Pro 161 for the last 2 years and loved it, but do not ride switch much so I wanted a set back stance, twin board that was bigger - so I grabbed this in a 165. It is just amazing. I float better than the T Rice, probably because the 165 is a better size for me and this is a wide board (though the Rice is a great board and mid wide) I can lurk in the trees and not fear of slowing down in massive snow now. It is so much fun! I mounted Union Factory (thanks again Travis Rice!) and use K2 UFO and Ride Lasso boots with this. It turns when you want it to, floats, butters, carves and brings a smile to my face every time I use it. Its everything I wanted in a board and then some. I loved the T rice board and would recommend it to anyone, but this Skunk Ape fits me better and lets me improve my riding. Either version is great, but if you want to be environmentally friendly and save a little weight (and like sparkles) then this is the version for you. So much fun!
