This board is amazing. It is my favorite board ever. Magnetraction is absolutely ridiculous. I love it and will never ever go back. It works great everywhere. I have the 157 and it is great.

What's the recommend weight range for the 153 and 157. I'm 5'8" and 155-160 lbs and I don't know which length is better for all mountain freestyle, park and jibbing. Any suggestions?
I'm a Magnetraction Believer..
Mid-flex,,,,soft enough for park, yet stiff enough for bombing/wide open bowls.
Insane POP-on carves and natural hits.
Very easy/fun board to ride.
Holds and edge at speed with Minimal chatter(Paired with Burton P1's/Ions)
I've ridden my 161.5 in deep pow at Beaver Creek, CO,,, WIde open Siberia Bowl at Vail, CO and in an Icy hell at Cascade, WI...
This stick can handle ANY condition and it absolutely DESTROYS Ice/hardpack..
Lib is onto something here with their tech...
Magnetraction works and then some.. This would be the perfect deck for East Coast/Midwest riders who generally ride in ice/slop/crud.
Only issue with this board,, The base came in SUPER dry..I suggest waxing it NUMEROUS times before headind out..--It's improved in speed drastically from when I first rode it with CONSTANT waxing.
Other than that, It's an absolute amazing board....
This board is amazing! Extremely fast and responsive and can handle whatever you throw at it, with ease. I feel invincible on this board. You can glide over the powder, stick a huge kicker and then straight line the chop and not even flinch. The magnetraction is just an added bonus on top of an already awesome package. I have been able to carve on sheer ice while everyone else is washing out! The harder you push this board, the more rewarding it becomes.
I absolutely love this board. Since I usually ride on the east coast, ice is always a factor and I feel so much more in control with those unexpected glassy patches. Took it on an icy pipe in NH and had no problem maintaining control, magnetraction may look ribbed for her pleasure but makes a huge difference!!
I am completely impressed with this board the magnatraction is amazing it does make all the difference on hard packed and Ice.
i love the board the only reason i have it a four was because u dont get to pick the base color so i ended up with a pinkish purple base other than that amazing
This board is SO fun!
great landing platform, because it's a mid-wide. Has some serious pop and initiates extremely well off of any takeoff. The Magnetraction bumps are more profound in the center giving it extra grip when I'm really pushing into a turn. Every base graphic/die-cut is different too! I'm so stoked on my board.
I recently got my hands on a 153 T Rice Magne-Traction(just in time for it to dump in Colorado). I was a little scared because I always ride a 155 or bigger, but I went for the smaller board because I wanted to size down and knew that Magne-Traction would make it easier. It floated great in the pow. When the snow stopped I took it to the park. Pipe, rails, jumps...It killed it in every situation. The Magne-Traction provides a much more confident edge making everything easier. I feel way more confident riding switch now.
Travis.....Thank You for being the first snowboarder in history to put Magne-Traction on their pro model.
It does everything. You won't be sorry
I bought the 06 161.5 model and it is hands down the best board I have ever ridden. It performs well all over the mountain from pow to park. I wear size 12's and its plenty wide, no drag. Can't say enough good things about it. I finally found my last board. Magnetraction is insane. Once you try it you will never go back!
