Park-loving ladies rejoice.

Some ladies weren't happy with the limited selection of versatile freestyle boards that shine in the park but still hold their own in the deep stuff, so Never Summer introduced the new Women's Onyx Snowboard this year to appease them. A Press Flex core, the Onyx Damping System, and of course the Original Rocker Camber profile make it an easy-going board that's loose enough to jib and butter through the park, yet responsive and stable enough to take off the big jumps and head out through the gates.

Never Summer's Original Rocker Camber profile features rocker between the bindings for a catch-free feel on hardpack and float in pow, with camber outside the bindings to maintain pop and power. To make the board more buttery without turning it into a noodle, the Onyx features a Press Flex core, which is softer in between the bindings for tweaked presses and greater ollie power. The Onyx Damping System absorbs vibrations for a smooth, yet lively ride, and Harmonic dampers reduce chatter in the tip and tail. A twin shape and blunt tips allow for smooth spins and switch takeoffs and landings.

  • Rocker between the inserts with camber outside the bindings
  • Twin shape
  • Vario Power Grip sidecut
  • Bi-Lite fiberglass
  • ODS dampening system and Harmonic top/tail dampers
  • Press Flex wood core
  • Durasurf XT sintered base
  • Satin topsheet

Pure Awesomeness

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'd been on hand-me-down boards until this, and I was immediately able to land my 180 my first time out. I have the Burton Custom bindings on it, I find them great. The board grips well on ice and floats through powder. Boxes have become so much easier. Honestly, no cons so far!

Great board!

It's very responsive, has a lot of pop and feels very stable when bombing down the hill. Not so great in the powder.I have the Union Trilogy bindings on mine and its makes the ride that much better.
